The Bears overcame a slew of injuries this season to win a one seed and a share of the Big 12 regular-season crown but were knocked out of the conference tournament in the first round by a shocking loss to Oklahoma last Thursday.

Early in the second half, Baylor led 35-29 until Oklahoma grabbed control with a 12-2 run. The Sooners then tightened up defensively in the final three minutes to seal the victory.

With 16 points and 3 steals, James Akinjo topped the Bears, while Jeremy Sochan added 13 points and 9 rebounds off the bench. The Baylor offense shot 38.5 percent from the field, including 3/22 from the three-point range, on the night.

Baylor is 16-14-2 against the spread after missing to cover in its previous two games, and it was also pushed as a large favorite at home by Iowa State to conclude the regular season.
