Colts at Texans—NFL pick is Indianapolis Colts +3.5. Indianapolis responded well with the return of Jacoby Brissett under center in their 33-13 home win to Jacksonville with the Jaguars coming off their bye week. They got production from their ground attack as Jonathan Williams was able to run for 116 yards on 13 carries. He will see the bulk of the carries for the Colts as Marlon Mack is out with a hand injury. Indy has covered six straight in Houston and five of six overall against the Texans. Colts won the first meeting this season at home behind 321 yards passing. Texans were hammered last week in Baltimore giving up 491 yards to the Ravens offense with 228 passing yards and four touchdowns throws to Lamar Jackson. Colts have done a good job in the red zone sitting in the upper third of the league. Past three games Colts defense holding teams to 270 yards to the Texans allowing 408 yards with 143 rushing for 5.8 yards per rush. Defensively Houston sits 28th on third down and 30th in the red zone. Play Indianapolis +3.5.
Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills Pick Prediction 11/24/2019
Broncos at Bills—NFL pick is Denver Broncos +5. Not comfortable laying this many points with the Bills. Denver defense has been good this season holding opponents to 310 yards with only 100 rushing for 3.9 yards per rush. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen is not an accurate passer downfield. They beat the Dolphins twice, Bengals, Jets, Giants, Titans and Redskins. They could only put up 14 points on the best defense in that group of teams in Tennessee. Broncos have covered five of their past six games showing improvement offensively the past two games. Running back Phillip Lindsey is averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Quarterback Branden Allen is more mobile than Flacco and has three touchdown passes and a pick in his starts. Bronco defense seventh on third down and second best in the red zone. Buffalo offense struggles moving the chains sitting 20th in the league on third down. Play Denver +5.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons Pick Prediction 11/24/2019
Buccaneers at Falcons—Free pick is Atlanta Falcons -4. This is a different Falcons team since coming off their bye week. They come off divisional road wins at the Saints 26-9 and Panthers 29-3. Falcons allowed only 310 yards to the Saints and 347 to the Panthers. Atlanta forced four Carolina turnovers. Buccaneers have lost five of their past six failing to cover all six. Just can’t trust Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay offense that has committed 15 turnovers in their past five games. Winston has thrown 18 picks this season. The team has committed three turnovers or greater in four of five games. Two games back Tampa Bay defense gave up 417 yards to Arizona and prior to that 492 yards to the Seahawks. Falcons have eleven sacks over their past two games and with pressure there could be more gifts from the Buccaneers quarterback. Play Atlanta -4.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles Pick Prediction 11/24/2019
Seahawks at Eagles—NFL pick is Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles to play over the total of 48 points. Seattle offense has shown improvement this season. They are no longer a ground and pound team. They throw more than run now. Past three games Seahawks are averaging 31 points and 383 yards per game. Team is fourth best in the league inside the red zone. Seahawks defense in that three game window is giving up 26 points and 410 yards. They are surrendering 325 passing yards with 64.8% completion rate. Eagles faced two strong defenses in a row in the Patriots and Bears. They have faced many good defensive teams. Panthers at Saints—Free pick is Carolina Panthers +10. Divisional rivalry game. Panthers a desperate team after back to back losses at the Packers and home to the Falcons. Ownership has put pressure on management, coaching and players after last week’s loss. At home New Orleans average 22.6 points per game. Carolina has covered three straight against the Saints. Panther running back Christian McCaffrey is running for 5.3 yards per attempt and a weapon in the passing game. Don’t like to lay double digits in a divisional game especially the NFC South.
