Spurs vs Knicks Game 3 | June 8, 2026 NBA Best Bets and Props

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks Best Bets

June 8, 2026 NBA Best Bets and Props – San Antonio is down 0-2, but this number still says the market has not completely buried the Spurs. New York is only laying a short home spread after stealing both games in San Antonio, and that is the part that makes this matchup tricky. The Knicks are up because they have been cleaner late. Not prettier. Cleaner. Game 1 was 105-95 New York, with San Antonio shooting just 36% from the field and 25.6% from three. That is bad efficiency for a home favorite. Game 2 was worse from a betting angle because the Spurs had chances again and lost 105-104. Missed free throws, late turnovers, empty crunch-time possessions. That is how a team with Victor Wembanyama averaging 27.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks in the series can still be down two games. New York is not shooting lights out either, but the Knicks are winning the possession battle when it matters. Jalen Brunson is averaging 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in the series even with ugly efficiency, and that matters because he is still getting to his spots late. Karl-Anthony Towns has two straight double-doubles and is giving New York enough scoring and rebounding to keep Wembanyama working on both ends. Mikal Bridges was huge in Game 2, going 8-for-13 and punishing the Spurs when they sent extra attention at Brunson. That is the edge. New York has more ways to survive a rough shooting stretch. San Antonio needs Wembanyama to be elite, Fox to pressure the rim, and the young guards to avoid bad late-game possessions. Dylan Harper has been one of the cleaner Spurs props because he scored 16 and 15 in the first two games, his usage jumped from 17.9 to 20.8, and he was trusted late in Game 2. That over still has value if the minutes stay up. For the side, I get the Spurs revenge angle, especially with San Antonio 6-0 straight up and 5-1 ATS after two straight losses this season. But New York is 28-15 ATS as a home favorite, 5-2 ATS as home favorite in the playoffs, and 11-2 straight up as home chalk against Western Conference teams. At Madison Square Garden, with a 2-0 lead and the cleaner half-court execution, I would rather lay the short number than hope San Antonio suddenly fixes the free throws, turnovers, and late-game decision-making all at once. Pick is Knicks moneyline, slightly safer than laying the spread.
