In the opening round of the 2023 March Madness, the No. 15 Princeton Tigers (22-8; 16-12 ATS) pulled off a huge upset. They beat the No. 2 Arizona Wildcats 59-55 last Thursday despite being 16-point underdogs.

In the opening round, Princeton made 40.6% of its field goals while shooting only 4-for-25 from beyond the arc. They had 11 turnovers overall, but they played tough defense in the final minutes and handled the ball well.
Tosan Evbuomwan, a senior forward, topped Princeton with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, and Ryan Langborg, a senior guard, chipped in with 8 points, a few rebounds, and a couple of blocks.
Tosan Evbuomwan, who averages 15.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists a game in 2022–23, is someone to keep an eye on.
Both the KenPom and the NCAA NET rankings place Princeton at No. 98. The Tigers are 108th in the country in terms of points scored per 100 possessions (108.6) while giving up 101.9 points in return (106th).

Princeton Tigers vs Missouri Tigers Predictions 3/18/2023
The No. 7 Missouri Tigers (25-9; 18-16 ATS) beat the No. 10 Utah State Aggies 76-65 as 1.5-point favorites in the first round of the 2023 NCAA championship tournament.
With just four 3-pointers allowed to one of the greatest 3-point shooting teams in the country, the Tigers completely deserved the victory and controlled the game for the majority of the game’s 40 minutes.
Against Utah State, Missouri made 50.9% of its triples. The Tigers had a dismal assist-to-turnover ratio of 12/15 and shot 10-for-25 from beyond the arc.
Senior big Kobe Brown scored 19 points and pulled down 8 rebounds, while senior guard D’Moi Hodge contributed 23 points, four rebounds, and four steals. They are ninth in the country in terms of points scored per 100 possessions (119.1) while giving up 104.6 points in return (163rd).
The Tigers’ defensive rebound percentage (63.0%), opposition 2-point percentage (52.3%), and opposition 3-point percentage (34.9%) all place them in the bottom three nationally.
- The Missouri Tigers are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 matches.
- The total went UNDER in 6 of Missouri’s last 9 matches.
- The Tigers are 6-1 SU in their last 7 matches.
#15 Princeton Tigers vs #7 Missouri Tigers. The NCAAB pick for this game is the #15 Princeton Tigers.
Mitch Henderson’s team should be able to keep it close against Missouri if they continue to work hard on the glass and play tough defense, even though I’m not convinced Princeton is capable of pulling off another upset.
Although Missouri is one of the top scoring teams in the nation, they struggle mightily to grab rebounds and lack defensive awareness.
Princeton must slow down the tempo against Missouri just as it did against Arizona. The #15 Princeton Tigers will win to a predicted score of 78-70.
