As offensively brilliant as a corner infielder with below-average power can be, Yandy Dáz had a tremendous 2022 season. D’az has a lower ZiPS than Steamer and The Bat, but his projection is still very good.

Even in this day and age, when most people are aware that on-base percentage is a thing, it’s a great tragedy that he’s somehow still underappreciated in the minds of fans.

In terms of pure walk rate, Daz isn’t nearly Eddie Yost or Eddie Joost, but he’s a mold-breaker in a similar vein.
