Central Division vs Pacific Division 2/4/2023 Picks Predictions Previews

The NHL All-Star weekend will take off with a collision between the Central Division and the Pacific Division at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday, February 4.

The Central Division finished All-Star weekend in 2021 with good standing and looking for a repeat this weekend despite losing some firepower from their arsenal.

The Central Division roster has Alex DeBrincat, Nazem Kadri, Jordan Kyrou, Joe Pavelski, Clayton Keller, and Roman Josi to mention some.

However, not all will be returning this weekend and some will even play for other divisions.

The 2023 NHL All-Star Central Division line-up will be composed of the following: Forwards – Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota Wild), Clayton Keller (Arizona Coyotes), Nathan MacKinnon & Mikko Rantanen (Colorado Avalanche), Jason Robertson (Dallas Stars), and Vladimir Tarasenko (St. Louis Blues).

Defensemen – Seth Jones (Chicago Blackhawks), Cale Makar (Colorado Avalanche), and Josh Morrisey (Winnipeg Jets).

For the Central Division Goalkeepers, we have Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets and Juuse Saros of the Nashville Predators.

This year, the Central Division could cover the spread if MacKinnon will lead the way and they will also need some touch from Jason Robertson to make some impact in his debut play in the All-Star.

Colorado’s Cale Makar and Chicago’s Seth Jones could also give some advantage for the Central with their scoring power.

Central Division vs Pacific Division Predictions 2/4/2023

The Pacific Division will try to make a noise in the All-Star weekend opening match-up after losing last year’s opener despite having two of the best skaters in the world.

Jonathan Marchessault, Mark Stone, Timo Meier, and John Gibson are among the players that made an impact for the Pacific Division but none of them is back in the line-up this year.

The Pacific team will bring back Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl together with new picks for this match-up.

The Pacific Division will feature in this year’s All-Star weekend the following, for the Forward position: Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers), Kevin Fiala (Los Angeles Kings), Bo Horvat (New York Islanders), Nazem Kadri (Calgary Flames), Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers), Elias Pettersson (Vancouver Canucks), Chandler Stephenson (Vegas Golden Knights), and Troy Terry (Anaheim Ducks) with Defenseman Erik Karlsson (San Jose Sharks).

For the Pacific Goalies, we have Stuart Skinner of the Edmonton Oilers and Logan Thompson of the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Pacific Division could cover the spread if McDavid and Draisaitl will make an entertaining performance for the Florida crowd.

Furthermore, Calgary’s Nazem Kadri must make a repeat performance from last year and LA Kings’ Kevin Fiala must overwhelm the crowd in his first appearance in the All-Star.

Central Division vs. Pacific Division. The NHL Pick for this contest is Pacific +102.

The Pacific Division will have its advantage with the greatest skater of this generation in its line-up, Connor McDavid, who already has 41 goals and 51 assists through 50 games played this season.

The Pacific also has two of the best setters in the league in Fiala (35 assists) and Stephenson (33 assists) who will be making their debut appearances in the All-Star.

There will be plenty of goals in this match-up and the combination of McDavid with Draisaitl will make a big difference. The Pacific Division will take this game 7-5.
