The Pittsburgh Panthers will meet with the #18 UCLA Bruins in Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl action in Sun Bowl, TX, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM ET.

The Pittsburgh Panthers (8-4; 5-7 ATS) completed the regular season on a high note by defeating the then-No. 20 Syracuse Orange 19-9 in one of their last four games.

Pittsburgh Panthers vs UCLA Bruins Predictions 12/29/2022

In Week 13 of the regular season, the UCLA Bruins (9-3; 6-6 ATS) ended a two-game losing streak.

The Bruins prevailed against the California Golden Bears 35-28 as 11.5-point away favorites to extend their ATS losing skid to three games after upsetting defeats to the Arizona Wildcats and the No. 7 USC Trojans, respectively, by scores of 34-28 and 48-45.

Although UCLA head coach Chip Kelly said Dorian should participate, Thompson-Robinson’s participation in the Sun Bowl is still uncertain.

Zach Charbonnet, a senior running back who amassed 1,680 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns in 2022, experienced the same thing.

Kazmeir Allen, a junior wide receiver who declared for the 2023 NFL Draft, will be missed by the Bruins. In the most recent regular season, Allen amassed 606 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns.

On Friday at El Paso, DL Gary Smith III is classified as questionable to play.
