Bills at Panthers—Carolina is 1-1 in the preseason with a 23-21 win at Washington and losing 20-10 at New England. This is first game at home. Carolina will play their starters at least one quarter. Most starters sat in the loss at the Patriots.
Panthers expected to play Baker Mayfield with the first team in the first quarterback followed by Sam Darnold in the second. PJ Walker expects to see action in the second half. Panthers offense has sputtered this preseason averaging just 240 yards with 75 rushing or 2.8 yards per carry.
Defensively the team has surrendered 362 yards a game with 4.5 yards per rush attempt. Opposing quarterbacks are completing 61% of their throws on the Carolina defense. Starting running back Christian McCaffrey will not play. Buffalo has decided to rest their starters in this game at Carolina.
Bills backup quarterbacks do have NFL regular season experience. Case Keenum to get the start for Buffalo with third string Matt Barkley expected to take over for the remainder of the game. Bills are 2-0 in the preseason beating the Colts 27-24 at home and last week a 42-15 home win to the Broncos.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL Pick Prediction 8/26/2022
Seahawks at Cowboys—Seattle is 0-2 in the preseason. Their losses were at Pittsburgh 35-32 and home to the Bears 27-11. There is a quarterback battle between Geno Smith and Drew Lock. Last week Geno Smith went 10 of 18 for 112 yards.
Seven drives resulted in no scoring but had three drops. Smith will start on Friday. Lock missed last week due to COVID but is expected to see significant action on Friday. Locke had three dives in the Steelers game and resulted in two touchdowns. Seahawks will play offensive starters to support Lock.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has sat starters this preseason. He is expected to sit them on Friday as he motivates them to practice hard to avoid game action. There is a backup battle between Will Grier and Cooper Rush. Dallas is 1-1 in the preseason losing at Denver 17-7 and last week winning at the LA Chargers 32-18.
Rush went 12 of 20 for 84 yards and an interception. He was 3 of 6 for 32 yards last week. Grier played his first preseason game last week hitting on 6 of 10 for 98 yards. Dallas averaging only 279 yards per game offensively running for 4.2 yards per carry.
Seahawks defense has struggled surrendering 343 yards a game with 151 rushing for 5 yards per rush attempt. Tough to lay a touchdown with Seattle with their defensive play. Backup battle will be going on for a full four quarters for the Cowboys, so the backdoor is wide open here. Play Dallas +7.
