The San Francisco 49ers defeated Green Bay 28-21 in the first game of the preseason for both teams. San Francisco intercepted Jordan Love three times, but head coach Matt LaFleur deemed the picks unfortunate.

Green Bay’s Love was capable of moving the ball all over the field, finishing with 176 yards and two touchdowns in addition to his three interceptions.

Romeo Doubs dropped two passes in addition to catching three passes for a total of 45 yards and one score. Green Bay’s backup quarterback Danny Etting completed 123 passes for 123 yards and a score.

Tyler Goodson led the Packers in rushing with 37 yards, but AJ Dillon and Sharon Jones saw no play. BJ Baylor led all receivers with 75 yards, while Danny Davis and Doubs both caught a touchdown pass.
