The Major League Baseball All-Star Event of the Year-1
The Major League Baseball of 2022 celebrates its 92nd year with a game between the American League All-Stars against the National League All-Stars on July 19, 2022, ET.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the popular game of the year at Dodgers Stadium in downtown LA at 7:30 PM, Wednesday evening.
The most-awaited game of the year will feature top players from the respective Leagues with exemplary achievements.
Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker will lead the American League All-Stars while Atlanta Braves skipper Brian Snitker will take the helm over the National League All-Stars.
The starters were voted in by fans while the reserves were filled in via player ballot and the commissioner’s office.
The Legacy selection for the American League All-Stars is DH Miguel Cabrera from the Detroit Tigers while the National League All-Stars have First Baseman Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals.
The American League All-Star Bursts with Talent
The American League bursts with talent. Former MVPs Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout will be joined by Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, and Rafael Devers among the AL powerhouse in the starting lineup.
New York Yankees’ Judge is leading baseball in home runs with 33 and is fourth in RBIs with 69. Boston Red Sox’ Rafael Devers is third in baseball with a batting average of .327 and tied for second in hits with 112.

Reserves for the American lead include Luis Arraez, Xander Bogarts, Jose Ramirez, George Springer, Byron Buxton, and Andrew Benintendi amongst others.
Shane McClanahan is amongst a strong group of pitchers for the American League that includes Ohtani as well as Houston’s Justin Verlander.
American League All-Star Replacements

The Major League Baseball All-Star Event of the Year-1
The National League All-Stars lineup is not to be Left Out
The National League lineup is not as strong on paper as the American League. However, the NL does not lack talent with starters like 1B Paul Goldschmidt (St. Louis Cardinals), 3B Manny Machado (San Diego Padres), and OF Mookie Betts (Los Angeles Dodgers).
Goldschmidt is having a career season at St Louis with 20 home runs, 70 RBIs, and 112 hits. Machado is leading the Padres in home runs with 15 home runs and RBIs with 51.
Other starters for the National League include 2B Jeff McNeil ( NY Mets), SS Trea Turner (LA Dodgers), OF Ronald Acuna Jr. (Atlanta Braves), OF Joc Pederson (SF Giants), and Catcher Wilson Contreras.
Not in the starting lineup, but one of the best sluggers in the National League is 1B Pete Alonso (NY Mets). Alonso will see action along with other reserves such as 3B Nolan Arenado (St.Louis Cardinals), Ronald Acuna, and SS Dansby Swanson (Atlanta Brave).
The National League pitchers include Sandy Alcantara, Corbin Burnes, Max Fried, and Joe Musgrove, who all deserve to start but only one will have the honor.
Other pitchers on the NL roster include Tony Gonsolin, Clayton Kershaw, Josh Hader, Luis Castillo, and Edwin Diaz amongst others.
National League All-Star Replacements
Meanwhile, the National League has Milwaukee Brewers reliever Devin Williams replacing Atlanta Braves pitcher Max Fried, who will be inactive on Tuesday. Cardinals right-hander Miles Mikolas replaced Brewers righty, Corbin Burnes.
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman was also added to the roster. Williams, the 2020 NL Rookie of the year, and Trevor Hoffman NL Reliever of the Year were selected by MLB. He got his first All-Star approval and will join Brewers teammates Burnes and Josh Hader as 2022 National League All-Stars.
Mikolas, now a two-time All-Star who ranks in the top five in the NL in ERA and WHIP, brings the Cardinals’ Midsummer Classic representation up to five players.
The Major League Baseball All-Star Event of the Year-1An All-Star Game in any sport is not easy to predict as the coaches and players are there for the love of the game and to showcase their talent.
Players usually do not play that hard compared to the regular games of the season. The American League roster is stacked with talent including baseball’s leader in home runs Aaron Judge, along with Giancarlo Stanton, Rafael Devers, Mike Trout, and Shohei Ohtani.
Even against the best pitchers from the National League, the American League lineup will put runners on base and score plenty of runs. Final Score Prediction, American League All-Stars win 9-3.
