Trubisky and Webb are experienced. Bills held the Lions to 248 yards in their win last week. Bears rotation is Andy Dalton, Justin Fields and Nick Foles. But the Bears pass defense Tia to complete 8 of 11 passes for 99 yards. Game lands 3 or 4 you win no matter who wins. Play Buffalo +4.5.
New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Jets at Packers—NFL free pick is Green Bay Packers +2.5. Not fond of the Jets quarterback rotation in Zach Wilson, Mike White, James Morgan and Josh Johnson. Jets were only able to score 12 points on the Giants last week. Kurt Benkert will start and will go deep into this game. Benkert did start a preseason game in his time with the Falcons. Packers were embarrassed last week and look for a response here. Jets rushing game last week generated only 2.4 yards per rush. They did allow 6.6 yards per rush to the Giants in their opener. Atlanta Falcons vs. Miami Dolphins Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Falcons at Dolphins—Free pick is Atlanta Falcons +5. Dolphins quarterback rotation is Tua Tagovailoa, Jacoby Brissett, Reid Sinnett. Defense for Miami allowed rookie quarterback Justin Fields to throw for 142 yards and surrendered 171 rushing yards for 7.1 yards per attempt. Falcons quarterbacks are Matt Ryan, AJ McCarron and Feleipe Franks. Third strong quarterback Franks was able to generate offense on the ground with 76 yards on four carries. The way Miami defense looked last week and their weak backups at quarterback would rather take points. Play Atlanta +5.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Carolina Panthers Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Ravens at Panthers—NFL pick is Baltimore Ravens -3. Panthers quarterback rotation is Sam Darnold, P.J. Walker and Will Grier. Won’t go against Ravens head coach John Harbough who has won 18 straight preseason games covering 16 of those games. Quarterback rotation for Baltimore is Lamar Jackson, Trace McSorley and Tyler Huntley. The third string Huntly did lead the Ravens to the game winning drive in the fourth quarter in the win. Panthers were held to three second half points last week in their loss to the Colts. Carolina defense allowed the Colts passing rotation of Jacob Eason and Sam Ehlinger to 310 yards passing and 9.4 yards per pass attempt. Play Baltimore -3.
Detroit Lions vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Lions at Steelers—NFL free pick is Detroit Lions +6. Detroit backups were able to generate 12 second half points while their defense held the Bills to three in the second half. Detroit quarterback rotation is Jared Goff, David Blough and Tim Boyle. Blough did average 12.7 yards per attempt in his time in the game last week. Reynold and Mills did produce good yardage on the ground for the Lions on the Bills defense. Detroit defense did hold Buffalo to 4.7 yards per pass attempt. Titans at Buccaneers—Free pick is Tennessee Titans +1. Prefer the Titans quarterback rotation in Ryan Tannehill, Logan Woodside and Matt Barkley. Both Woodside and Barkley had touchdown passes in their 23-3 win at Atlanta. Titans registered five quarterback sacks last week allowing only 21 passing yards. Buccaneers quarterback rotation is Tom Brady, Blaine Gabbert, Kyle Trask and Ryan Griffin. Tampa Bay rested starters last week in their defeat 19-14 to Cincinnati. Bucs quarterbacks averaged only 4 yards per pass attempt on the Bengals defense last week. Tampa Bay ran for only 1.7 yards per carry on 17 rushing attempts. Play Tennessee +1.

Garrett Gilbert, Cooper Rush and Ben DiNucci. They have averaged 9.5 points per game in the preseason. Texans quarterback rotation is Tyrod Taylor, Jeff Driskel and Davis Mills. Taylor and Driskell have NFL experience. With questions surrounding DeShaun Watson the Texans will have to get Tyrod Taylor ready to start in Week 1. Taylor went 4 of 4 in the win at Green Bay last week for 40 yards. Their run game generated 170 yards. Play Houston +4.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Colts at Vikings—NFL free pick is Indianapolis Colts +2. Colts quarterback rotation is Jacob Eason, Sam Ehlinger and Brett Hundley with the injury to Carson Wentz. Both Eason and Ehlinger saw action last week and combined for 25 of 36 passing for 310 yards in their win against the Panthers. With their starter out injured there is a sense of urgency now for the Colts to get a backup ready to start the season. Vikings rotation at quarterback is Kirk Cousins, Kellen Mond, Jake Browning, Nate Stanley and Danny Etling. Minnesota opened their preseason with a 33-6 defeat to the Broncos at home. Quarterback play was poor as Kellen Mond and Jake Browning combined for 11 of 26 passing for 79 yards. Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Broncos at Seahawks—Free pick is Denver Broncos -5. There is a heated quarterback competition brewing in Denver between Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock. Pete Carroll has not committed to playing his starters. Lock and Bridgewater combined for 12 of 15 passing for 225 yards and three touchdowns in their 33-6 win at Denver. Seattle quarterback rotation is Geno Smith, Sean Mannion, Alex McGough behind Russell Wilson. The backups combined for 4.3 yards per attempt in their loss to the Raiders. Broncos did defend well in their win against the Vikings by allowing 235 yards with only 79 yards passing with 3 yards per attempt. Play Denver -5.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. LA Rams Pick Prediction 8/21/2021
Raiders at Rams—NFL pick is Las Vegas Raiders -6.5. Rams head coach Sean McVay shows very little in the preseason. His quarterback rotation is John Wolford, Bryce Perkins and Devlin Hodges. Matthew Stafford is not likely to take a snap in the preseason. Wolford is out so it will be Perkins and Hodges leading the team under center. Rams scored six points and generated 197 yards in defeat to the Chargers last week. The combination of Perkins and Hodges averaged 4.4 yards per attempt. Raiders quarterback rotation is full of NFL experience in Derek Carr, Marcus Mariota and Nathan Peterman. In their 20-7 victory to the Seahawks last week Peterman played the whole game going 29 of 39 for 246 yards. Raiders have covered 8 of 9 in the preseason in John Gruden’s second tenure with the team.
