Lakers at Suns—Free pick is LA Lakers +2. So far the reports are that LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play in this game. In the front end of a back to back on the road with the second game at home you must worry about load management. That would mean Anthony Davis and LeBron James held out. That doesn’t seem to be the case here. LA has been a very good defensive team with their lone loss coming in the opener at LA Clippers. Team posted wins on the road at Mavericks, Spurs and Bulls. Phoenix an improved team but is young. They do have home losses by margin with rest to Miami and a close home defeat to Utah. LA is holding teams to just 41.8% shooting this season with 30.4% from three. They are living up to the commitment of defending this season. Suns defense has not been as good as in the start of the season. Past five games the team is allowing 48.6% shooting with 36.1% from three. We did see the Lakers respond well following a loss this season and ran off seven straight. At this short number have to take LA Lakers -2.
