Milwaukee Bucks vs. Houston Rockets Pick Prediction 10/24/2019
Bucks at Rockets—NBA pick is Houston Rockets -1.5. Houston picking up Russell Westbrook for Chris Paul is an upgrade to their team. Chris Paul slowed the pace of play down for Houston and with Westbrook the team will play faster. Rockets kept many of their key supporting cast in Capela, Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker. Like the addition of Thabo Sefolosha and Tyson Chandler gives them better rim protection. A big loss for Milwaukee as Malcolm Brogdon exits the team in free agency to the Indiana Pacers. Westbrook does defend well. Rockets more returning rotational players while the Bucks have many new pieces that may take time to get familiar in this system. It is harder to replace players into a team that finished high in the defensive efficiency ratings. Play Houston -1.5.
LA Clippers vs. Golden St Warriors Pick Prediction 10/24/2019
Clippers at Warriors—NBA free pick is LA Clippers -1.5. Clippers opened season with a strong second half surge in their 112-102 home win to LA Lakers. LAC had a good shooting night converting on 51.9% with Kawhi Leonard in his regular season Clipper debut finished with 30 points on 10 of 19 shooting. Clippers showed off their great depth with the bench providing 60 points which was over half of what the starting lineup produced. Clippers held a talented Lakers team to just 43.5% shooting. No starter reached 32 minutes. Golden St saw Kevin Durant leave in free agency and Klay Thompson out for much of the season with a knee injury. Defender Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston exits. Warriors have very little depth on their bench and that will be exploited by the LA Clippers who have one of the best bench in the league. Play LA Clippers -1.5.
