Nebraska is showing improvements but in step up games to Colorado they lost 34-31 and at Illinois escaped with a 42-38 win. Cornhuskers allowed 221 yards rushing to Illinois for 5.8 yards per run and were sloppy with the football with four lost fumbles. In the Colorado loss the Cornhuskers surrendered 375 yards passing.
