Rebels do have experience at running back and in Rick Rod’s spread he does feature the run. Tigers have been a poor defense for the past three seasons. They allowed 36.2 points and 36.2 points per game. Memphis has their quarterback Brady White return for his junior season with his playmakers in the passing game. Under head coach Mike Norvell in three seasons, the team has been a strong offensive team. Last year the Tigers averaged 42.9 points and 523 yards per game. Their defense was poor surrendering 32 points and 428 yards per contest. Play Ole Miss and Memphis over the total of 67.5 points.
Mississippi St vs. Louisiana Pick Prediction 8/31/2019
Mississippi St vs. Louisiana—College football free pick is Mississippi St Bulldogs -20. Team will start Penn St transfer Tommy Stevens. Head coach Dave Doren in his seventh year was sold on McKay’s accuracy in camp and had a great spring. Eastern Michigan vs. Coastal Carolina—College football pick is Coastal Carolina Chanticleers +6. Coastal Carolina is an experienced team returning seven starters on offense and eight to the defense. They are experienced on both lines. Four starters back on the offensive line and six of seven in their front seven on defense. Sophomore Fred Payton starts at quarterback winning the job in camp with day to day consistency. He takes care of the football. Eastern Michigan has a lot of turnover from their 7-6 team last year with six starters returning on offense and four to the defense. They were an offense that posted only 27 points per game. Eagles offensive and defensive line are inexperienced and break in a first year starting quarterback. Glass did see action last year and was the starting quarterback in the Eagles 23-21 defeat to Georgia Southern in their bowl game. Six is too many to lay on the road with this team. Georgia St vs. Tennessee—College football free pick is Tennessee Volunteers -26. This is an experienced Volunteers team that brings back ten starters to their offense. Junior quarterback Jarret Guarantano returns with all his playmakers in the passing game. They defended well holding teams to 27.9 points per game. Georgia St comes off a 2-10 year. They defended poorly giving up 37 points and 490 yards per game. Panthers were pounded in the non-conference last year losing 41-7 at NC State and 59-22 at Memphis. They even lost at home to Western Michigan 34-15. Georgia St went 0-6 on the road last year losing each game by 13 points or greater. They allowed 427 yards per game a season ago. They opened the season at Western Michigan and won 55-42. They gave up 44 points in a loss at Pittsburgh. Liberty is an experienced team on offense returning eight starters including starting quarterback Steven Calvert a senior. Most of his playmakers return. This was an offense that averaged 33 points and 423 yards per game. They were also a bad defensive team giving up 37 points and 485 yards per game. In step up games the Flames allowed 47 to North Texas, 45 to Virginia and 53 to Auburn. Also, the Flames surrendered 43 to New Mexico and 49 to New Mexico St. Flames get enough points to push this over. Play Syracuse and Liberty over the total of 68 points.

Only five return on offense. The offensive and defensive line is inexperienced and that is an issue facing an SEC school. Cowboy’s offense generated only 20.7 points per game last year. Sean Chambers returns at quarterback after playing late last year. He returns from a broken leg last year as he likes to run the football. Cowboys inexperience at the trenches is an issue here.
