This Japanese bred has won all five of his races including notable wins in the UAE Derby and Saudi Derby. Forever Young has been lightly raced in 2024 with just two starts. For an import to be at this short price is telling for a huge performance.
With our Exacta Pick we will Box #11 with #18 Stronghold. Phillip D’Amato trains Stronghold who comes off back-to-back wins at the Sunland Derby then Santa Anita Derby. He is by Ghostzapper and has the mid pace figures to stalk the leading group. D’Amato is a young hard-working trainer based in Santa Anita. He is one of the rising trainer talents out west.
In the Trifecta will be Box #11 with #18 with #8 Just a Touch. Brad Cox trains Just A Touch who has been lightly raced in this career with three starts. He comes off a second-place finish in the Blue Grass Stakes. He was second in the slop back on March 2nd in the Gotham. He posts good mid place figures to be in reach of the leaders late and can only improve off his Grade 1 debut last time out.
Our Superfecta Box is #11 with #18 with #8 with # 9 Encino. Brad Cox trains this three-year-old Colt Encino who comes off three straight wins. Encino finished no worse than second in his four lifetime starts. He comes off a front running win in the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes at Keeland. He is sired by Nyquist and by a Bernardini mare Glittering Jewel. His speed numbers have improved in each race.
