76ers at Bucks—Harden is out for Philadelphia. Milwaukee has a clean injury report. Leaving the 76ers this year are Georges Niang, Shake Milton and Jalen McDaniels. Additions include Danny Green, Kelly Oubre, Patrick Beverly and Mo Bamba. Head coach Nick Nurse takes over for the departed Doc Rivers. Milwaukee lost Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen during the offseason. Notable additions are Damian Lillard, Malik Beasley and Cam Payne. Mike Budenholzer was let go after Milwaukee’s early exit from the playoffs. Lillard’s presence will help the Bucks execute their half court offense. Adrian Griffin is the new head coach for Milwaukee. He served as a Toronto assistant for the past several seasons. 76ers do have Melton and Oubre coming off the bench. Nurse is a defensive minded coach so Philadelphia will still have strong presence. Last year Philadelphia held opponents to 112.7 points per 100 possessions and finished with a +4.4 net rating with the Bucks at +3.4 net rating a season ago. Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers NBA Pick Prediction 10/26/2023
Suns at Lakers—Damion Lee is out for Phoenix. Beal and Booker are doubtful. Vanderbilt out for Los Angeles with Reddish probable. Phoenix is 1-0 with their 108-104 road win at Golden St Warriors. Suns shot only 44% with 33% from three and 19 turnovers. They held the Warriors to 36% shooting with only 10 of 43 from three. Los Angeles fell to 0-1 after their 119-107 road defeat to the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers shot 46% with 34% from three. LA went deep into their bench with James playing 29 minutes and Davis with 34. They allowed Denver 53% shooting with 14 of 34 from three. Los Angeles defense the concern here with Davis and LeBron apparently getting limited minutes. Vincent, Hachimura, Wood and Reddish gave the Lakers offense off the bench. Gordon, Watanabe, and the big man Eubanks expect to see minutes off the bench. Play Phoenix and Los Angeles over 225.
