Bulls running game held to just over three yards a carry. Defensively they contained the Rams rushing attack but allowed 309 passing yards on 36 attempts. Bulls quarterback Cole Snyder had a big game passing for 265 yards, 8.8 yards per attempt on 24 of 30 completions. Both quarterbacks are effectively throwing downfield. Passing defense is an issue for both teams. Play Liberty and Buffalo over 56.5.

Kansas St at Missouri 12PM ET—Kansas St is 2-0 with their 42-13 home victory to Troy. Wildcats ran for over four yards a carry. They limited the Trojans offense to under three yards per rush and 216 passing on 30 attempts. Senior quarterback Will Howard 21 of 32 for 250 yards averaging 7.8 yards per attempt. Missouri is 2-0 after their 23-19 home victory to Middle Tennessee St. Tigers rushed for under three yards a carry. They limited the Blue Raiders defense to 285 yards and running for under three yards per carry. Brady Cook went 14 of 19 for 203 yards with 10.7 yards per attempt. They met last season with Kansas St winning 40-12 at home as a seven point favorite. The Wildcats rushed for 235 yards in the win and limited the Tigers to 222 yards of offense. Wildcats are 9-1 as a favorite the past two seasons. Running game and Wildcats experience offensively the key here. Play Kansas St -5.5.

Penn St at Illinois 12PM ET—Penn St is 2-0 on the year with their 63-7 home win to FCS Delaware. They opened the year with a 38-15 home win to West Virginia. They piled up 478 yards on the Mountaineers in the win running for over four yards per rush. The Nittany Lions limited the Mountaineers to 308 yards of offense. Sophomore quarterback Drew Allar had a huge game in their opening win completing 72.4% for 325 yards and 11.2 yards per attempt. Illinois fell to 1-1 after their 24-23 road defeat at Kansas. Poor game for the Fighting Illini defense allowing 541 yards with 264 rushing for over six yards per rush. They did allow 277 passing yardage for 29 passes. Quarterback Luke Altmyer had two interceptions in the loss hitting 19 of 28. He is a threat to run posting 70 yards and two touchdowns for 5.4 yards per attempt. First road game for the Nittany Lions. Illinois did beat an experienced Toledo team at home posting 374 yards. Illinois won the previous meeting two seasons ago on the road in overtime. Ground and pound here for Illinois at home could keep them covering this number. Play Illinois +16.

Louisville at Indiana 12PM ET—Game is played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Louisville is 2-0 on the year after their 56-0 home victory to FCS Murray St. They opened the year defeating Georgia Tech on a neutral field 39-34 behind a second half rally to overcome a 28-7 halftime deficit. In that victory the Cardinals piled up 474 yards rushing for 227 for over seven yards per rush. They allowed 313 passing yardage to the Yellow Jackets on 32 attempts. Quarterback Jack Plummer is completing 64.2% of his throws for 9.3 yards per attempt and three picks. Indiana is 1-1 after their 41-7 home victory to FCS Indiana St. Hoosiers opened their season with a 23-3 home defeat to Ohio St. Hoosiers offense was dismal producing less than three yards per carry and 153 yards for the game. They did allow the Buckeyes over 4.5 yards per rush and 237 passing yards on 31 attempts. Quarterback Brendan Sorsby is completing only 53.1% of his passes with 5 yards per attempt on the year. Against Ohio St, he threw for only 3.6 per attempt. Respect the defensive performance by the Fighting Illini against the Buckeyes. Only five starters returned to the Hoosiers offense. Their defense limited the Wildcats on the ground but allowed 340 passing yards on 47 attempts. Mississippi St had a +4-turnover margin. Will Rogers had three touchdown passes in the win with 9.5 yards per attempt. The defense is inexperienced for the Bulldogs and could have their hands full against the mobile play of Daniels. Rogers is in his third starting season and played in four games as a freshman. Two experienced quarterbacks here. Play LSU and Mississippi St over 53.5.

Florida St at Boston College 12PM ET—Florida St is -10 after their 66-13 home victory to Southern Miss. They opened the year with the 45-24 victory to LSU. Seminoles offense pounded the Southern Miss defense for 554 yards with 306 rushing on 37 carries. They limited the Golden Eagles defense to 258 yards. Jordan Travis completed just 52% with 6 yards per attempt in the win. In the win against LSU, Travis threw for 342 yards, 74.2% completions and 11 yards per attempt. Boston College is 1-1 after their 31-28 home victory to FCS Holy Cross. Eagles opened their campaign with the 27-24 home loss to Northern Illinois. The offense struggled with efficiency in the loss but did run for six yards per rush. NIU rushed for seven yards per rush on BC. Sophomore Thomas Castellanos struggled against the Huskies completing 46.4% with 4.9 yards per attempt. Eagles are inexperienced on defense. Travis numbers were not good for his talent so expect better production with his solid run game. Eagles will lean on the run. Third down conversions the concern for Boston College here. Big plays in the passing game decided it with Grant Wilson connecting on four touchdowns passes for 30 yards or greater. Wilson struggled in the loss to Virginia Tech on the road with 52% completion rate and 3.8 yards per attempt. Both teams are inexperienced. Monarchs had only four back on offense with three to the defense. Their loss to Virginia Tech leaves little confidence to go support here. Eagles are inexperienced on defense with four starters back. Eagles defense a concern. Badgers are getting production from their passing game and they will be able to have better success running here. Play Wisconsin -16.5.
