Drew Lock is the backup behind Smith. Holton Ahlers is the third string. Seattle rookies are making good impressions in camp.
In O’Connell’s first year as head coach he rested starters in the preseason. They have lost seven straight preseason games. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll coaches to win games even in the preseason. Play Seattle -3.5.
