The Seattle Kraken will collide with the Devils in an NHL Inter-Division competition at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Thursday evening.

Seattle overwhelmed the skating world when it made a big noise by coming out from the bottom to second place at 29-16-5 in the Pacific Division with just one point behind Vegas in first place at 63 to 64 this season to date.

However, the Kraken struggled a bit just recently after losing three of the last five matches played including their recent 0-4 shutout loss on the road versus the New York Islanders on Tuesday.

Seattle made 32 shots and 31 hits while winning 21 faceoffs with 2 penalty minutes in the loss.

Seattle doesn’t have any superstars in their line-up but the Kraken owed their success to every player who contributed in different ways.

Center Matty Beniers is playing his rookie year in the NHL with the Seattle Kraken and he is making a big impact in his first season in the league.

Beniers compiled 17 goals, 19 assists, and 36 points in just 48 games which is an impressive record for a rookie in the NHL today.

The Seattle Kraken is 11-5 straight up in their last 16 outings and 7-2 SU in their last 9 road matches played.

The totals went UNDER in 4 of Seattle’s last 5 contests versus an opponent from the Western Conference and also went UNDER in 10 of the Kraken’s last 11 games played against a rival in the Metropolitan Division.
