During this five game win streak Travis had a 65.8% completion rate with 11 touchdowns, 1 pick and 9.7 yards per pass attempt. Game played in Orlando Florida which will aid the offenses. Texas vs. Washington—Texas concluded regular season play at 8-4 this season. Longhorns closed the regular season on a two game win streak with double digit wins at Kansas and home to Baylor. Longhorns defense played well down the stretch holding teams to 303 yards with 3.2 yards per run and 5.8 yards per pass attempt. The run game performed well down the stretch as in their final three games averaging 221 yards with 5.2 yards per rush. Quarterback Quinn Ewers completed 66.9% of his passes this season with 9.2 yards per attempt. Washington concluded play at 10-2. They finished on a six game win streak. Huskies cranked up the offense in their final three games by averaging 600 yards with 6.9 yards per rush. Quarterback Michael Penix announced that he would return for his senior season. Penix completed 66% of his throws with 8.7 yards per attempt. A certain Heisman run in 2023 for his senior season. As the offense put up strong numbers the defense allowed 409 yards with 254 passing for 7.4 yards per attempt. Huskies had a six game improvement over last year. This is always a hard spot for the PAC 12 as they have the feel of a visiting team in this bowl game in San Antonio. Huskies avoided USC and Utah in this year’s PAC 12 schedule. They lost at UCLA.
