He threw for three touchdowns and four interceptions. Air Force concluded play at 9-3. They are winners of the Commander in Chief trophy beating both Army and Navy who both missed bowl games. Conference losses to Boise St, Wyoming and Utah St kept the Falcons away from the Mountain West title game. They did close the season on a four game win streak beating San Diego St 13-3 as the notable win. Air Force quarterback Haaziq Daniels completed 47.4% with 9.6 yards per pass attempt. In the Triple Option, Daniels a running quarterback that produced seven touchdowns and 4.9 yards per attempt. Air Force defense was outstanding this season sitting best in college football allowing 255 yards per game and 155 through the air. Teams put up 13.3 points a game against the Falcons ranking third in the nation. Falcons coach Troy Calhoun is 7-2 to the spread in bowl games with the team the past nine. Baylor had higher aspirations than a 6-6 bowl game. Motivation would be greater with the Falcons here. Play Air Force +3.5.
