Davis Brin completed 64.5% completions with two touchdowns, two picks and 9.2 yards per attempt. Season wide the senior 60.8% completion rate with 9.2 yards per attempt. Temple fell to 2-4 with their 70-13 road defeat at UCF.
Another struggle on offense for the Owls with 293 yards gained and 59 rushing on 27 attempts. Temple defense struggled giving up 738 yards, 7.5 yards per rush and 433 passing on 28 passes. E.J. Warner 55.8% completions in the loss with season low 5.4 yards per attempt.
On the year Warner 56.2% completion rate, six touchdowns, six picks and 6.8 per attempt. Owls running for only 2.6 yards a carry so no threat to exploit the Golden Hurricane in that area. Brin and the passing game will be to much to overcome for Temple. Play Tulsa -13.

UAB at Western Kentucky—UAB is 4-2 with their 34-20 home win to Charlotte. Another strong offensive performance gaining 510 yards offensively with 279 rushing on 53 carries. They limited the 49ers to 327 yards with 214 passing on 26 attempts.
Dylan Hopkins 65.2% completions in the game with 10 yards per attempt. A threat to run with Hopkins rushing for 103 yards, a touchdown on ten runs. Western Kentucky is 4-3 after their 35-17 road win at Middle Tennessee St. Hilltoppers moved the football for 443 yards, rushing for 165 on 36 carries.
They limited the Blue Raiders on the ground and surrendered 228 passing on 51 attempts. Austin Reed completed 65.3% but a season low 5.7 yards per attempt. Season to date Reed a 70.7% completion rate with 7.8 yards per attempt.
UAB good defensive team and that goodness travels by giving up 299 yards on the road. Hilltoppers have a home loss to Troy this season giving up 34 points. Play UAB +2.
FAU vs. UTEP College Football Pick Prediction 10/22/2022
FAU at UTEP—FAU fell to 3-4 after their 17-14 home win to Rice. Owls generated only 311 yards of offense with 185 rushing on 53 carries. Strong defensive performance by Florida Atlantic holding the Rice Owls to just 263 yards, less than three yards per rush and 197 passing on 28 attempts.
N’Kosi Perry 53.8% completions with a touchdown and only 4.8 yards per attempt. On the year the Miami transfer is at 56.3% completion rate with 7.2 yards per attempt. UTEP moves to 3-4 with their 41-31 road defeat to Louisiana Tech.
A season high 501 yards offensively with 181 rushing on 38 carries. They limited LA Tech on the ground with 266 passing on 27 passes. Gavin Hardison 45.1% completions, two touchdowns, three picks with 6.3 yards per attempt.
On the year Hardison a low 51.1% completion rate with 6.7 yards per attempt. Miners have won their past two at home including a 17 point win to Boise St. FAU has struggled on the road giving up 437 yards and 4.9 yards per rush. Miners defending well at home. Play UTEP +4.
Arkansas St vs. Louisiana College Football Pick Prediction 10/22/2022
Arkansas St at Louisiana—Arkansas St fell to 2-5 after their 20-19 road defeat at Southern Miss. Second straight game for the Red Wolves to gain under 300 yards of offense. Team ran for only 50 yards on 31 carries. Defensively they allowed over four yards per carry on the ground and 177 passing on 32 attempts.
James Blackman 73.5% completion rate in the loss, two touchdowns and 6.9 yards per attempt. Season wide a career high 69.3% completions with 11 touchdowns, one pick and 7.9 yards per attempt. Louisiana 3-3 with their 23-13 road win at Marshall.
Ragin Cajuns produced 338 offensive yards with 108 rushing on 34 carries. Ben Wooldridge 58.6% completions in the win, two touchdowns and 7.9 yards per attempt. Wooldridge this year 63.1% completion rate and 6.5 yards per attempt. Louisiana defending well but the offense is the concern.
They run over 60% of the time and gain only 3.7 yards per attempt. But Red Wolves pass defense has been poor on the road where they allow 296 yards with 16 yards per pass completion. Would expect a higher percentage of passes by Blackman here. Play Louisiana -6.5.

San Jose St at New Mexico St—San Jose St fell to 4-2 after their 17-10 road defeat at Fresno St. Spartans produced only 331 yards in the loss with 37 rushing on 23 carries. Defensively they held the Bulldogs to 334 yards with 230 passing on 32 attempts.
Hawaii transfer Chevan Cordeiro season lows 48.9% completions with 6.5 yards per attempt. Season to date Cordeiro 56.5% completion rate with 7.7 yards per attempt. New Mexico St is 2-5 with their 21-9 home win to New Mexico.

Fresno St at New Mexico—Fresno St improves to 2-4 with their 17-10 home win to San Jose St. Bulldogs gained 334 yards with 104 rushing on 36 attempts. They limited the Spartans on the ground but allowed 294 yards passing on 46 attempts. Bulldogs survived three turnovers.
