Against the Phillies he put up a 2-1 record with a 3.86 ERA, as well as being the Marlin’s lone all star selection during the previous season.

They have a strong offensive lineup led by Bryce Harper, Andrew McCutchen, Didi Gregorious, and Rhys Hoskins. Harper, who had a not so good season last year, still managed to put up 149 hits, 35 home runs, and 114 runs driven in.

Philadelphia will start with Aaron Nola making it his 3rd time as an opener. Last season Nola was able to put up a 12-7 record, and 3.87 ERA with 229 strikeouts in 202.1 innings. In a total of 50 starts in a span of 3 seasons Nolan put up a 2.74 ERA record. He is a good pitcher that needs to avoid bad innings as he tends to meltdown if that happens.
