College Football ATS and Over Under Trends 11-10-2020
Some teams have just begun their season while others have played up to eight games. It is a good time to check out the against the spread and over under trends thus far.
At the top of the ATS rankings is the Arkansas Razorbacks. The team has covered all six games and comfortably by an average of 10.8 points. Defensively good in red zone and on third down. Mountain West fast trackers are San Jose St and Nevada successful in three of three both showing strong offensive ability. Wake Forest Demon Deacons have covered five of six spreads. Average margin has been by 10.8 points. Demon Deacons offense puts up 37 a game and has seen improvement as the season has wore on.
At the bottom is the Kansas Jayhawks who have failed to cover all seven games by a margin of -13.4 points. Defense allowing 48 points a game. Penn St 0-3 to the spread with the margin at -18.2. Southern Miss who went through a coaching change after week one is 1-5 ATS missing by -13.3 points. Appalachian St, Mississippi St and Memphis sit at 1-5 to the spread. Mountaineers are 5-1 straight up with margin of victory +17.2. They do not cover those big lines scoring over 40 points once against FBS teams.
Kansas Jayhawks have played over in six of their games with one push. They games have gone over by an average of 10 points per game. NC State has played over in six of seven. Wolfpack games have gone over by 12.4 points a game. At 5-1 to the over are Virginia and Georgia St which are two teams lacking defense.
Under teams include FAU at 4-0. They hit the under by an average of 22.1 points a game. Huge swing in coaching philosophy from Lane Kiffin to Willie Taggart. Georgia Southern has gone under in 6 of 6 with the average margin of 7.7 points. Eagles primarily a running team.
