MLB Segment 7-5-2019—
7PM ET–Yankees (Tanaka) at Rays (McKay)
NY -114 with o/u 8
Yankees split a pair with the Mets after sweeping the Red Sox in London. Tanaka looks to bounce back from an awful start against the Red Sox in London last just 2/3rds of an inning.
McKay makes his second start after an impressive debut holding the Rangers to no runs and one hit in six innings.
7PM ET–Phillies (Velasquez) at Mets (deGrom)
New York -189 with o/u 8
Phillies have split the first two with the Braves. Velasquez has been roughed up giving up 17 runs in his past 19 1/3rd innings.
Mets get a day off on the Fourth of July after splitting two at home to the Yankees. They sit at 39-48 with major bullpen problems. They don’t support deGrom with run production nor relief work.

NFL Segment—
Buffalo Bills
Season Win Total: 7 (Over -130—Under +108
Super Bowl Odds: +8500
AFC Odds: +4350 Odds
AFC East Odds: +1000 Odds
Head coach Sean McDermott returns for his third season with the Bills. His record is 15-18 but sure feels a lot worse. He has a winning point spread record of 17-15-1. They did make a playoff appearance in 2017 and got off to a poor start. In Week 3 the Bills shocked everyone by beating Minnesota on the road 27-6 dominating the game. They did close out the season winning four of their final seven games to end at 6-10. Team played well defensively holding opponents to 294 yards per game. Improvement needed offensively as Buffalo posted 17 points and 175 yards passing per game. In the draft they got help defensively by taking the Houston Cougars talented defensive linemen Ed Oliver. Josh Allen returns under center. Veterans LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore are in the backfield. T.J. Yeldon came over from Jacksonville. In the passing game the Bills picked up Cole Beasley from Dallas. John Brown was signed from the Ravens and he had 42 catches averaging 17 yards per reception and five touchdowns. Beyond those two veterans is a very young core of receivers. Buffalo faces the NFC East and AFC North this season.
