NBA Segment Friday 2/1/2018
7:30PM ET—Celtics at Knicks (ESPN)
New York involved in a block buster trade with Kristaps Porzingis going to Dallas. Knicks looked to clear salary for two max contracts next season. Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Matthews will join New York but not on Friday night. Knicks sit at 10-40.
Boston has won two straight and seven of eight after their home win and cover to Charlotte by 32 on Wednesday.
10PM ET—Rockets at Nuggets (ESPN)
Denver -5 with o/u 227
Houston has won and covered both meetings with the Nuggets. They look to rebound after a five point home loss to New Orleans. They have failed to cover six of seven playing poorly on defense with Capela out.
Nuggets are 22-4 at home on a four game win streak but failed to cover both wins on their road trip at Memphis and New Orleans.

Red Storm broke their two game losing streak beating Creighton on the road 83-67. This is a good three point shooting team hitting on 38.5%.
Duke has won four straight and 7-1 in the ACC. Three straight wins by 13 or greater points. Blue Devils come off a 22 point win at Notre Dame.
12PM ET—Seton Hall at Butler (FS 1)

Pirates broke a four game losing streak by beating Providence by 2 at home. Pirates struggles shooting threes.
Butler has lost three straight after an 18 point home loss to Marquette. Bulldogs struggles have come on defense.
2PM ET—North Carolina at Louisville (ESPN)
PR Line: Louisville -2
Revenge game for North Carolina after a 21 home loss to the Cardinals. They have won four straight since.
Louisville has a six game win streak in the ACC. Notable home seven point win to NC State. Strong free throw shooting team that knows how to draw fouls.
2PM ET—Texas at Iowa St (ESPN 2)

Longhorns had dropped five of six until a 10 point home win to Kansas. Texas struggles making threes.
Cyclones have won four of five after a 25 point home win to West Virginia. Strong team hitting two pointers.
4PM ET—Texas Tech and Kansas (CBS)
PR Line: Kansas -3
Red Raiders after a three game slump has won two straight coming off a 19 point home win to TCU. Strong defensive team.
Kansas road struggles continued with loss at Texas. Jayhawks undefeated at home.
6PM ET—Indiana at Michigan St (ESPN)
PR Line: Michigan St -17
Hoosiers have now lost seven straight after their 8 point road loss at Rutgers. Team is bad from three.
Michigan St looks to rebound after their 10 point road loss at Purdue on Sunday. Spartans great at shooting and defending the two as well as three point shot.
8PM ET—Tennessee at Texas A&M (ESPN)
PR Line: Tennessee -13
Volunteers have won 15 straight with a 22 point win at South Carolina. Strong offensive team.
Aggies have dropped seven of nine after a 15 point home loss to LSU. Texas hits only 28.5% from three and a high turnover team on offense.
8PM ET—Alabama at Auburn (ESPN)
PR Line: Auburn -9
Crimson Tide has lost three of four on the road in SEC. They come off a four point home win to Mississippi St. Team struggles at the free throw line.
Auburn broke their three game losing streak beating Missouri at home by 34 points. Good shooting team that struggles defending threes.
