NCAA College Football Picks Preview Predictions Odds 9-25-2018
Thursday September 27th

8PM ET—North Carolina at Miami (ESPN)
Miami -18 with o/u 55.5
These teams have played close games the past two seasons. North Carolina got their offense going in a 38-35 victory at home to Pittsburgh. Quarterback Nathan Elliot threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns.
Miami has won three straight since their loss to LSU. N’Kosi Perry quarterbacked the Hurricanes to three touchdown passes. Hurricanes defense held FIU to 187 yards.

Friday September 28th, 2018

9PM ET—UCLA at Colorado (FOX 1)
Colorado -5.5 with o/u 60.5
UCLA has struggled offensively. Bruins come off a bye as they fell to 0-3 losing 38-14 at home to Fresno St.
Colorado is 3-0 behind an offense putting up 494 yards per game and improvement from Steven Montez at quarterback.

Saturday September 29th, 2018

12PM ET—Syracuse at Clemson (ABC)
Clemson -23.5 with o/u 66.5
Clemson looking for revenge after a 27-24 road loss last year at Clemson. They come off a blowout win at Georgia Tech 49-21 stuffing the Yellow Jackets triple option to 2.6 yards per rush on 56 carries. Trevor Lawrence has won the starting job at quarterback.
Syracuse is off to a 4-0 start. Most notable win was 30-7 home victory to a down Florida St team. Question will be if the Orange can make enough stops on defense.

12PM ET—West Virginia vs. Texas Tech (ESPN2)
West Virginia with o/u 77
West Virginia has won and covered the past two meetings putting up 46 last year and 48 points two seasons ago. Definitely the biggest test for the Mountaineers with wins against a down Kansas St and at Tennessee.
Texas Tech since losing to Ole Miss in their opener has won three straight. After a shootout win to Houston the Red Raiders traveled to Oklahoma St and won 41-17. Can this Red Raiders defense pull this result again. They gave up 47 to Ole Miss and 49 to Houston.

4:30PM ET—Michigan at Northwestern (FOX)
Michigan -14 with o/u 48
Wolverines has looked strong on offense since their loss at Notre Dame. But wins came to Western Michigan, SMU and Nebraska 56-10 at home last week.
Northwestern comes off a bye week after a turnover filled 39-34 defeat at home to Akron. They dropped a 21-7 decision at Duke prior.

7:30PM ET—Stanford at Notre Dame (NBC)
Notre Dame -5.5 with o/u 54
Stanford showed strong mental grit overcoming a 24-7 deficit at Oregon winning in overtime. Running back Bryce Love ran for 136 yards against USC and 89 yards last week at the Ducks. He did miss the third game of the season with a knee injury.
Notre Dame made the quarterback switch to Ian Book and their offense responded with a 56-27 victory. Book threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns and ran for three touchdowns.

7:30PM ET—South Carolina at Kentucky (SEC)
Kentucky -1.5 with o/u 49.5
South Carolina has lost four straight to Kentucky the past four seasons. Gamecocks after their 41-17 loss to Georgia went on the road to be an experienced Vanderbilt team 37-14 behind a strong defensive performance.
Kentucky is 4-0 with notable wins at Florida and last week defeated Mississippi St at home 28-7 behind 21 unanswered points. Kentucky held the Bulldogs to 201 offensive yards.

7:30PM ET—Ohio St at Penn St (ABC)
Ohio St -3.5 with o/u 71
Both teams are 4-0. Ohio St pulled out a one point win last year. Buckeyes in their step up game defeated TCU 40-28 in Arlington. They have blown out three weak opponents.
Penn St had a strong fourth quarter beating Illinois 63-24 outscoring Fighting Illini 35-0 in the fourth quarter. Their scare game in the opener with a 45-38 win to Appalachian St in overtime.

9PM ET—Ole Miss at LSU (ESPN)
LSU -12 with o/u 59.5
After getting pounded at home to Alabama the Ole Miss Rebels won but didn’t cover at home to Kent St 38-17. Ole Miss is giving up 502 yards per game.
LSU is 4-0 after beating Louisiana Tech 38-21 last week but didn’t cover as a 19 point favorite. Quarterback Joe Burrow completing only 49% of his passes this year.

10:30PM ET—Oregon at Cal (FOX 1)
Oregon -3 with o/u 58.5
Oregon needs to regroup after blowing a 17 second half lead at home to Stanford. Ducks are allowing 251 passing yards and have failed to cover a point spread this year.
Cal is an experienced team with 18 starters back. The play of their defense has improved the greatly the past two seasons. They come off the bye week with a 3-0 record with notable wins at home to North Carolina and on the road to BYU.

10:30PM ET—USC at Arizona (ESPN 2)
USC -3 with o/u 61.
Trojans survived a scare at home beating an inexperienced Washington St team 39-36 not covering. They are struggling defending the run and that is a strength of the Wildcats offense. USC on the road put up 3 at Stanford and 14 at Texas in losses.
Arizona after losses to BYU and at Houston has won two straight. They beat Oregon St last week 35-14 as a -4.5 favorite on the road. Arizona lacks size on defense and is allowing 519 yards per game with 7 per play.
