College Football Bowls
Monday December 31st—
3PM ET—Redbox Bowl Santa Clara
Michigan St vs. Oregon (FOX)
Oregon -2.5 with o/u 48
Ducks starting quarterback Justin Herbert announced he is returning next season. Ducks an 8-4 team closed out with win at home to Arizona St and a 55-15 win at Oregon St. They had dropped three straight on the road prior to the win at the Beavers.
Michigan St struggled offensively on the season and finished at 7-5. They were held to 14 points or fewer in their final three games. Their run game only produced 3.5 yards per carry. Starting quarterback Brian Lewerke told the media last week that rest helped his shoulder.
ITUNES
Liberty Bowl Memphis
3:45PM ET—Missouri vs. Oklahoma St (ESPN)
Oklahoma St -9 with o/u 74.5
Cowboys a 6-6 team finished the regular season with a loss at TCU 31-24 favored by -5.5. They have lost four straight away from home.
Missouri and 8-4 team closed the season with four straight wins with notable wins at Florida and home to Vanderbilt.

Holiday Bowl San Diego
7PM ET–Northwestern vs. Utah (FOX 1)
Utah -7 with o/u 46
Utah historically has been a good bowl team under head coach Kyle Whittingham. But they never suffered the letdown of losing a PAC 12 championship game and losing a shot at the Rose Bowl. Quarterback Tyler Huntley is questionable with his broken collarbone. He started throwing against three weeks ago.
Northwestern had won seven of eight until they fell to Ohio St in the Big Ten title game costing the Wildcats a Rose Bowl berth. Holiday Bowl has become the Rose Bowl consolation game.
