Notable Mid-week series:
LA Dodgers at Cincinnati—Dodgers have the best road record in Baseball. But just 13-19 at home. Mattingly blows a gasket after their last home stand and the team is off to a good start on this road trip.

Cincinnati four games under .500. The club is 29th and second to last in runs scored this season at 3.47 a contest.
Washington at San Francisco—
The Nationals have a solid bullpen and are tied with the Atlanta Braves in the NL East. The team is hot winners of six of seven after crushing San Francisco 9-2 on Monday.
San Francisco is 20 games over .500 and has a 9 game lead in the loss column over the Dodgers. Angel Pagan is healthy and hitting .321 on the ear. Tim Hudson has had a great year with an ERA under 2. Giants are hitting and have the fourth best team ERA in baseball.
Oakland at LA Angels—
The Athletics holds a 3 ½ game lead over the Angels. It was a tough spot for Oakland as they played on Monday losing 4-1 after closing a six game road trip back east with no rest.
The Angels were swept by Oakland nine days ago and there was an ill effect as the club loses two of three to Houston. They bounce back sweeping the White Sox in four games last week including a huge comeback on Saturday in a grand slam by Mike Trout.
NY Yankees at Seattle—
The Yankees are having trouble scoring runs as they are leaving runners stranded in scoring position. There are whispers that Jeter may move down from the second spot in the hitting lineup with a .254 average. They have lost four straight series.
Seattle has rallied winners of 8 of 9 to get into the second Wildcard spot in the AL. They piled up wins against anemic hitting lineups in Tampa Bay and Atlanta.
Notable weekend series:
Washington at St Louis—
The Cardinals sit five back of Milwaukee. After dropping five of six the team rallied with wins on Saturday and Sunday at Toronto with back to back shutouts.
Toronto at Baltimore—
Toronto sits 5 ½ games ahead of second place Baltimore in the AL East. The team is good on the road at 19-11. They have won seven of nine heading into Tuesday.
The team has won six of nine after beating Boston on Monday in Game 1 of their series. Manny Machado gets suspended five games after his incident against Oakland. Baltimore is the number three hitting team quietly in baseball.
Cleveland at Boston—

Cleveland has moved two games within of the Tigers. They are winners of nine of ten entering Tuesday. The Indians are putting up some high run totals of late.
The Red Sox are seven games under .500 after dropping six of seven entering Tuesday action. Boston is just 15-17 at home.
NY Yankees at Oakland—Oakland is #1 in Team ERA and WHIP and face a light hitting Yankees lineup. Oakland won two of three at New York last week.
Texas at Seattle—Texas has fallen eight games out in the competitive AL West at 31-33 on the year. Texas pitching has gotten crushed of late by allowing six runs or greater in seven of their past ten games.
LA Angels at Atlanta—Recent struggles have brought Atlanta into a tie with Washington in the NL East. They are 0-6 in Interleague play this season. The club is 28th and third in baseball in runs scored.
