Wednesday October 5th
8PM ET–Georgia Southern at Arkansas St (ESPN2)
Georgia Southern -7 with O/U 55
Offensive coordinator and quarterback from 2015 left program and the Red Wolves are a struggling 0-4.
Georgia Southern was 3-0 until they travel to Western Michigan and get beat 49-31.
Thursday October 6th—
8PM ET—Temple of Memphis (ESPN)
Memphis -10 with O/U 60 ½ points.
The Owls upset the Tigers in windy conditions last year winning 31-12 in late November. The Owls are 3-2 and have a two game win streak after beating SMU at home 45-20.
Memphis couldn’t upset Ole Miss two years in a row as they lose their first game of the season in a 48-28 road defeat.
Friday October 7th—
8PM ET—Clemson at Boston College (ESPN)
Clemson -16 ½ points with O/U 43 ½ points.
Clemson looks to avoid a letdown after they get a key defensive stop in a 42-36 home victory against Louisville. Deshaun Watson threw three picks and the Tigers finished with five turnovers.
Boston College is offensively challenged when they have faced the big conference schools. They are 3-2 with wins against very weak teams.
Saturday October 8th—
12PM ET—Notre Dame at NC State (ABC)
NC State -2 points with O/U 63 ½ points.
Fighting Irish sit at 2-3 after a 50-33 victory on a neutral field to Syracuse. 33 points is a lot to give up to the Orange.
NC State comes off a 33-16 home victory to Wake Forest and covered as a 14 point favorite. They have a road loss by thee at East Carolina.
12PM ET—LSU at Florida (ESPN)
LSU -3 points with O/U 41 points.
LSU crushes Missouri at home 42-7 as interim head coach Ed Orgeron gets a victory in his first game.
Florida was not impressive offensively in a 13-6 road win at Vanderbilt. They had just 236 offensive yards for the team.
12PM ET—Auburn at Mississippi St (SEC)
Auburn -2 ½ points with O/U 54 ½ points.
Auburn crushes UL Monroe after their home victory to LSU. This is their first road game of the season.
Mississippi St comes off a bye week. They are 202 after beat UMASS 47-35 on the road as a 22 ½ point favorite.
12PM ET—Texas vs. Oklahoma (FS1)
Oklahoma -10 ½ points with O/U 73 points.
The Texas defense fails again. The team fell to 2-2 on the year with a 49-31 road defeat at Oklahoma St.
Oklahoma playing for a Big 12 title opened conference play with a 52-46 road victory at TCU as a -3 ½ point favorite.
3:30PM ET—BYU at Michigan (ABC or ESPN2)
Michigan St -6 with O/U 49 ½ points.
BYU is 2-3 as they were in yet another close game. This time they win as they get past Toledo 55-53 as a -3 point favorite.
Michigan St is 2-2 losing at Indiana in overtime 24-21 laying -5 on the road.
3:30PM ET—Tennessee at Texas A&M (CBS)-
Texas A&M -7 points with O/U 56 points.
The Vols came from a 21-0 deficit two weeks ago and beat Florida. Last week they needed a Hail Mary 43 yard touchdown pass by Joshua Dobbs in a 34-31 road victory.
Another good defensive effort by Texas A&M in their 24-13 road victory at South Carolina.
7PM ET—Alabama at Arkansas (ESPN)
Alabama -14 points with O/U 49 points
The Crimson Tide moved to 5-0 as they beat Kentucky at home 34-6 laying -37 points.
Arkansas has a neutral site defeat at Texas A&M losing 45-24 two weeks ago. They crushed an FCS school Alcorn St last week.
7:30PM ET—Georgia at South Carolina (SEC)
Georgia -7 ½ points with O/U 42 ½ points
The Bulldogs after getting crushed at Ole Miss suffered the heartbreaking loss at home to Tennessee to fall to 3-2.
South Carolina has been held to 14 points or fewer in four games against the SEC. They are 2-3 overall and 1-3 versus the SEC.
7:30PM ET—Washington at Oregon (FOX)
Washington -9 points with O/U 69 ½ points.
The Huskies come off an impressive 44-6 home victory to Stanford last week. Their only road game resulted in a seven point overtime victory at Arizona.
Oregon has lost three straight and 0-2 in the PAC 12 after a 51-33 road defeat at Washington St in a revenge spot.
8PM ET—Florida St at Miami (ABC)
Miami -3 points with O/U 65 points.
Florida St fell to 3-2 as they are a victim of a 54 yard field goal as time expired in a 37-35 home defeat to North Carolina. The Seminoles defense got torched by Tar Heels QB Mitch Trubisky for 405 yards and three touchdowns.
Miami is 4-0 and coming off their first test of the season beating Georgia Tech 35-21 on the road last week. Their other wins game against Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic and Appalachian St.
10:30PM ET—Washington St at Stanford (ESPN)
Stanford -7 ½ points with O/U 57 points.
Spot players delight here. Stanford is coming off a bad loss at Washington last week. Huge loss because with tiebreaker they are two games back of the Huskies in the PAC 12 north.
Washington St crushes Oregon at home.
