Thursday September 11th—
9PM ET—Houston at BYU (ESPN)—
BYU favored by -18 ½ points with a total of 58 points.
Last year was a wild game with BYU winning 47-46 on the road as a -10 point favorite.
BYU has wins by margin over Connecticut and last week they crush Texas in the second half and win 41-1 as a +1 point underdog. Taysom Hill looks like a Heisman candidate. Hill has five rushing touchdowns and completing 73% of his passes.
Houston beat Grambling last week after getting crushed at home to Texas San Antonio. John O’Korn in his sophomore campaign is completing just 52% of his throws.

Friday September 12th—
7PM ET—Toledo at Cincinnati (ESPNU)—
Cincinnati favored by -11 points with a total of 59 ½ points.
Cincinnati had two bye weeks to begin play. They cancelled an FCS opponent early to earn a paycheck to travel to Miami on October 11th. Looks like Sophomore Gunther Kiel a Notre Dame transfer will start but Tuberville says three quarterbacks could see action.
Missouri was ready for Toledo this time as the Rockets get crushed at home to the Tigers last week.

9PM ET—Baylor at Buffalo (ESPN)—
Baylor is a -34 point favorite with a total of 67 ½ points.
Last year Baylor crushed the Bulls at home 70-13. Bears quarterback Bryce Petty is questionable with his spine injury.
Buffalo had trouble defending Army last week as they lose 47-39 as a +3 point underdog. Bulls Junior QB Joe Licata has seen action in all three years with the school and hit hitting nearly 70% of his throws this year.

Saturday September 13th—
12PM ET—East Carolina at Virginia Tech (ESPN)-
Virginia Tech favored by -11 ½ points with a total of 53 ½ points.
It was a great defensive effort by Virginia Tech as they have a very good defense. The team kept their composure as they lose a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter by scoring 14 unanswered points of their own.
East Carolina hung with Virginia Tech last year losing 15-10 as a +8 point home underdog. The Pirates hung in with South Carolina last week. Quarterback Shane Carden has put up some good numbers.
3:30PM ET—Georgia at South Carolina (CBS)—
Georgia favored by -5 ½ points with a total of 60 points.
Georgia is coming off a bye week. The team will lean on Todd Gurley. Big road test for Hutson Mason the Georgia quarterback.
South Carolina defeated East Carolina 33-23 last week but their defense gave up a lot of yardage.
3:30PM ET—Arkansas at Texas Tech (ABC)—
Home team Texas Tech favored by -2 ½ points with a total of 63 ½ points.
Arkansas is on a 10 game losing streak against FBS schools. Last week’s win came against an FCS school.
Texas Tech had trouble defending the UTEP run game last week as the Red Raiders squeak by with a 30-26 road win as a three touchdown favorite.
4PM ET—Illinois at Washington (FOX)—
Washington is a -13 ½ point favorite with a total of 65 points.
The Huskies in Chris Peterson first year with the school is 2-0 with closer than expected wins at Hawaii and last week against Eastern Washington. The Huskies pass defense was torched by Eastern Washington last week.
Illinois needed a fourth quarter rally to get past Western Kentucky as the Fighting Illini defense had trouble with the Hilltoppers passing attack.
7:30PM ET—Purdue at Notre Dame (NBC)—
Notre Dame is favored by -28 points with a total of 56 points.
The Fighting Irish is 2-0 to start the year with blowout wins against Rice and last week a 31-0 thumping over Michigan at home. Third straight home game for Notre Dame and sometimes their games with Purdue are closer than people expect.
Purdue drops a 38-17 decision to Central Michigan last week. They have given up 34 and 38 points to two MAC teams this year.
7:30PM ET—Kentucky at Florida (SEC)—
Florida is a -17 ½ point favorite with a total of 50 ½ points.
Florida has Alabama next week. The Gators can defend but its all about the offense with Jeff Driskell under center.
Kentucky has been down the past couple of years. They are 2-0 and have a notable home win to Ohio. An interesting game to see if the program is on the upswing.
8PM ET—Tennessee at Oklahoma (ABC)—
Oklahoma is favored by -20 ½ points with a total of 54 ½ points.
Last year Tennessee ventured out of conference on the road and got crushed at Oregon. The home win this year against Utah St was impressive. It is a huge test for this Tennessee defense.
Still not sure how good Oklahoma is after facing two programs that are down in Tulsa and Louisiana Tech.
8PM ET—USC at Boston College (ESPN)—
The Trojans are favored by -16 ½ points with a total of 51 points.
A 3 point line move here as USC opened a -20 point favorite.
USC will be on the back end of a back to back road trip. They pull out a hard fought win at Stanford last week. The Trojans defense was on its heels for most of the game as Stanford was in Trojans territory for much of the game.
Boston College gets crushed by the Pittsburgh running game in their 30-20 loss in week two at home. Interesting to see how the Eagles offensive and defensive lines hold up here. Thinking USC could wear them out.
8PM ET—UCLA at Texas (FOX)—
UCLA is a -7 point favorite with a total of 49 ½ points.
The Bruins are 2-0 with closer than expected wins at Virginia and last week they had trouble getting separation against the Memphis Tigers.
In a revenge spot at home to BYU last week it all falls apart for the Longhorns in the second half in a 41-7 defeat. On top of that there are quarterback problems. Texas facing another run threat with Brett Hundley.
8PM ET—Penn St at Rutgers (B10)—
Penn St on the road favored by -3 ½ points with a total of 53 points.
Christian Hackenberg can look great at times but his interceptions with his team in front can be a bit frustrating. Penn St has looked good defensively.
Rutgers has a road win at Washington St and they beat Howard at home last week. Gary Nova has experience at quarterback seeing heavy use in all four of his seasons. The Scarlet Knights allowed 259 yards and 6 yards per rush to Howard last week.
10:30PM ET—Nebraska at Fresno St (CBSN)—
Nebraska a -10 point favorite on the road with a total of 62 ½ points.
The Cornhuskers were tested last week by a very good FCS School in McNeese St as it took Cornhusker running back Ameer Addullah late game heroics to pull this game out last week.
Fresno St is a rebuilding team 0-2 after getting crushed at USC and Utah giving up over 50 points in each game. The Pat Hill recruits have been cycled out of the program as Tim Deruyter has his players now.
