Thursday November 20th—
7PM ET—Kansas St at West Virginia (FOX 1)
West Virginia -2 ½ points with a total of 58 points. Both teams bowl eligible.
Kansas St will look to rebound after a 21 point loss at TCU two weeks back. They have one conference loss so there still in the mix for the Big 12 title.
West Virginia is coming off back to back defeats at home to TCU 31-30 and lost two weeks back at Texas by 17 points. The Mountaineers have two home losses this year as they drop a 45-33 decision at home to Oklahoma.
7:30PM ET—North Carolina at Duke (ESPN)
Duke -6 points with a total of 66 ½ points. Duke Bowl eligible and UNC is 5-5.
It is a short turnaround for the Blue Devils after dropping a 17-16 home decision to Virginia Tech last week. They are tied with Georgia Tech with two losses in the ACC Coastal but the Blue Devils have the tiebreaker with a head to head win. Wake Forest up next and Georgia Tech is done with the ACC.
North Carolina is 1-4 on the road with a one point win at Virginia in late October. They have won 3 of their past four games.
Saturday November 22nd—
12PM ET—Minnesota at Nebraska (ESPN)
Nebraska -10 point favorite with a total of 56 ½ points. Both teams bowl eligible.
Both teams suffered major blows to their hopes of making the Big Ten championship game with losses last week.
Nebraska gets crushed by the Wisconsin ground game in a 59-24 road loss. Horrible second half for the Cornhuskers.
Minnesota got behind 14-0 early at Ohio St and showed mental toughness to come back and make it a game. They lose by 7 in the end but past Golden Gophers would have gotten behind 35-0 at the half.
3:30PM ET—Mississippi at Arkansas (CBS)
Ole Miss favored on the road by -3 point favorite with a total of 45 ½ points. Ole Miss bowl eligible Arkansas is 5-5.
The Rebels enter play off a bye week. They have dropped two straight SEC games with a road defeat at LSU and home loss to Auburn.
Arkansas gets their first SEC conference win in two season with a 17-0 home win to LSU. To make a bowl game the Razorbacks need to beat Ole Miss or next week win at Missouri.
3:30PM ET—Boston College at Florida St (ABC/ESPN2)
Florida St favored by -19 points with a total of 56 ½ points. Both teams bowl eligible.
The Seminoles kept their undefeated streak intact with a come from behind win at Miami. Tough spot as BC is sandwiched between Miami and Florida on the schedule.
You can’t fall asleep against this Boston College team. They are 4-0 on the road and have a notable home win to USC this year.
3:30PM ET—Wisconsin at Iowa (ABC/ESPN2)
Wisconsin -10 points with a total of 51 ½ points. Both teams bowl eligible.
The Badgers ran all over the Cornhuskers last week as running back Melvin Gordon has a monster game. Wisconsin holds a 1 game lead in the Big Ten west over Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota.
Iowa has a home loss early in the season to Iowa St. They have been hot and cold this year. Biggest home test by far for the Hawkeyes.
3:30PM ET—Arizona at Utah (ESPN)
Utah is favored by -4 points with a total of 53 ½ points. Both teams bowl eligible.
The Utes beat Stanford for the second straight season as they scored two overtime touchdowns in a 3 point double OT road win.
Arizona survived a home scare to Washington last week as they win it with a 47 yard field goal as time expired. Arizona tied with three other teams with two losses in the PAC 12 south.
3:30PM ET—Louisville at Notre Dame (NBC)
Notre Dame is favored by -4 points with a total of 53 points. Both teams bowl eligible.
Notre Dame hurt their chances for a high quality bowl game with a bad home loss to Northwestern last week as the defense gave up over 500 yards.
Louisville is 3-2 on the road with losses at Virginia by 2 points and Clemson by 6 points. They are coming off a bye week after an impressive 19 point win at Boston College.
4PM ET—Stanford at California (FOX 1)
Stanford favored by -5 ½ points with a total of 56 points. Both teams are 5-5
Stanford has now lost two straight and three of their past four games after a double overtime loss at home to Utah last week 20-17 as a -10 point favorite.
California despite behind for much of their game two weeks ago at USC didn’t give up and made it a one possession game in a 38-30 road defeat as a +14 point underdog. Cal needs a win here or next week at home to BYU to become bowl eligible which is a huge accomplishment for this team.
7PM ET—Miami at Virginia (ESPN2)
Miami favored by -6 points with a total of 49 points. Miami is 6-4 and bowl eligible. Virginia is 4-6.
The Hurricanes three game win streak was snapped as they lose at home last week to Florida St. The team is 1-3 straight up on the road. They close the regular season home to Pittsburgh.
The Cavaliers need a win here and next week at Virginia Tech to become bowl eligible. But Virginia has lost four straight and coming off a bye week.
7:30PM ET—Oklahoma St at Baylor (FOX)
Baylor favored by -27 ½ points with a total of 68 ½ points. Baylor Is 8-1 and Oklahoma St is 5-5
Oklahoma St is hurting for offense right now as they have scored no greater than 14 points in their past four games all resulting in losses. They are on a bye next week and finish at Oklahoma.
No secret that Baylor is looking to run up scores to try and get into the playoff picture. They are the number one scoring offense in college football averaging 50 points a game.
7:30PM ET—Missouri at Tennessee (ESPN)
Tennessee -3 ½ points with a total of 47 points. Missouri is 8-2 and Tennessee 5-5.
The Tigers picked up a nice win at Texas A&M last week as a road underdog. Missouri controls their destiny for an SEC Championship Game berth out of the East as they hold a one game lead over Georgia. They are 4-0 on the road. After Tennessee they are home to Arkansas.
Tennessee has won two straight after a 50-6 blowout home win to Kentucky. On November 1st they win at South Carolina in overtime. On Thanksgiving Weekend they host Vanderbilt.
UCLA favored -3 ½ points with a total of 61 points. USC is 7-3 and UCLA is 8-2
Both teams have two conference losses and in a four way tie in the loss column in the South Division as both Arizona schools have 2 PAC 12 losses. Loss by ASU gave both UCLA and USC life in the PAC 12 race.
The Trojans losses have come at BC, at Utah and home to Arizona St.
After a close call at Colorado the Bruins have a home win to Arizona and two weeks ago win at Washington 44-30.
10:30PM ET—Boise St at Wyoming (ESPN2)
Boise St -12 ½ point favorite with a total of 54 ½ points. Boise St is 8-2 while Wyoming is 4-6.
The Broncos are tied with Colorado St and Utah St at 5-1 in the Mountain West conference Mountain division. Next week they are home to Utah St. Boise St has won five straight but had to come from 20 down last week in a 38-29 win at home to San Diego St.
Wyoming will close at New Mexico so a win here gives them a shot at a bowl game. They are trending downward losers of five of six games. They are struggling on both sides of the field.
