Mitch from Sports Chat Place guests on the Tonys Picks TV Show and offers his picks, predictions, previews and odds from all of the top games from college football in Week 12.

Thursday November 13th—
9PM ET—California at USC (ESPN)
USC -14 ½ points with a total of 72 ½ points.
The Trojans with two conference losses is back of ASU by one game. They were off last week after routing Washington St 44-17 two weeks ago They beat Oregon St by 25 and Colorado by 28 at home this year.
California at 5-4 is just one win away from bowl eligibility after a bad 2013 campaign. They too come off a bye week. A road win at Oregon St 45-31 broke a three game losing streak. The Golden Bears are giving up 40 points a game. Offensively they average 509 yards a game.
Saturday November 8th—
12PM ET— Ohio St at Minnesota (ABC)
Ohio St -12 with a total of 59 ½ points.
Big win for Ohio St last week as they put up 49 points at Michigan St last week. Team is fourth in scoring offense pushing across 46 points a game.
Minnesota earns a blowout home win against Iowa last week and sits in a three way tie in the Big Ten West with Nebraska and Wisconsin. They close their regular season on the road to those clubs. The Golden Gophers control their destiny by it will be very tough.
12PM ET—Clemson at Georgia Tech (ESPN)
Clemson -3 with a total of 60 ½ points.
The Tigers were tied at 20-20 late in their game last week against Wake Forest and two unanswered points earned them the victory. Clemson is the second best defense in college football and lack the explosiveness of past teams.
At 8-2 the Yellow Jackets has just two regular season games left and is a longshot to make the ACC title game since they lost to first place Duke and is a game back of them. They enter play on a three game win streak.
3:30PM ET—Mississippi St at Alabama (CBS)
Alabama -8 ½ points with a total of 51 ½ points
The loser most likely will slip out of the playoff picture for the time being. Alabama survived a trip into Death Valley last week. They nearly gave away the game late with a critical fumble by Yeldon deep in his territory in a tie game.

Mississippi St a perfect 9-0 and 3-0 on the road. The SEC road wins came by 14 at Kentucky and by 5 at LSU. They are 123rd in the nation against the pass giving up 300 yards a game. Have to be concerned that LSU put up 29 and Kentucky 31 points on the Mississippi St defense.
3:30PM ET—Nebraska at Wisconsin (ABC)
Wisconsin -6 with a total of 57 points.
Huge game in the Big Ten West division as Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin are tied at 4-1 in conference play with three games remaining. The Cornhuskers only blemish was a five point loss at Michigan St but the schedule has not been too demanding other than a home win to Miami by ten early.
This is the biggest test for Wisconsin since an eight point loss in Week 1 to LSU. They don’t play Michigan St or Ohio St this year as weaklings Maryland and Rutgers are on the schedule.
3:30PM ET—Washington at Arizona (FOX)
Arizona -9 with a total of 59 ½ points.
Washington’s season has taken a bad turn as the team has lost three of their past four games after a 44-30 home defeat to UCLA last week. They are not bowl eligible at 6-4 because with a road game at Hawaii they play 13 games this year. The Huskies offense has struggled ranking 98th in the country.
Arizona sits one game behind Arizona St in the PAC 12 South race and they will face the Sun Devils on Thanksgiving Weekend. After a 10 point loss at UCLA the Wildcats bounce back with a win at home to Colorado.
4PM ET—Kentucky at Tennessee (SEC)
Tennessee -8 ½ points with a total of 54 points.
At 5-5 Kentucky must find one more win to become bowl eligible and it may be tough as they close the season at Louisville. They looked bad defensively in at 63-31 home defeat to Georgia last week.
Tennessee at 4-5 needs two more wins to become bowl eligible. They have a home date to Missouri and a road game at Vanderbilt left on the schedule. They come off a bye week after an upset road win at South Carolina two weeks ago. Joshua Dobbs a sophomore has shown some quality for the Vols.
6PM ET—Utah at Stanford (PAC 12)
Stanford -7 ½ points with a total of 44 points.
Stanford has been eliminated from the PAC 12 North race. They are just 5-4 on the season and will come off a bye week after a 45-16 road defeat at Stanford.
Utah is bowl eligible at 6-3. The get blown out at home to Oregon last week. Nearly went ahead 14-0 early if not for a miscue by one of their receivers. The Utes are on a two game losing streak and in the meat of their schedule. They did pull off a home upset of Stanford last year.
7:15PM ET—Auburn at Georgia (ESPN)
Georgia -2 ½ points with a total of 68 ½ points
Auburn looks to rebound here after having their playoff hopes doused by Texas A&M last week. The Auburn defense just isn’t good enough to make up for miscues by their offense. The Tigers are pretty much out of the SEC West race.
Georgia comes off a big win at Kentucky last week. They own the tiebreaker over Missouri in the SEC East race by they trail the Tigers by one game.
7:30PM ET—Missouri at Texas A&M (SEC)
Texas A&M favored by -6 points with a total of 59 points.
Missouri controls their destiny in the SEC East race with a win at Texas A&M, at Tennessee and home to Arkansas they win the East. The offense has struggled though with Maty Mauk under center. They are 116th overall offense in the nation.
Texas A&M bounces back with a win against Auburn to break a three game SEC conference losing streak. They have a bye week then LSU to close out the regular season and if they win out they will get a nice bowl berth with a 9-3 mark.
7:30PM ET—Texas at Oklahoma St (FOX)
Texas -3 points with a total of 49 points
There has been a change of favorites here as Oklahoma St opened as a -1 point favorite.
Texas is at 5-5 and one win away from bowl eligibility. They close the season on Thanksgiving weekend to TCU at home. They are on a two game win streak after a 33-16 win at home to West Virginia.
Oklahoma St is 5-4 and looking for one more win to become bowl eligible. They might have to get the win here as they close at Baylor and at Oklahoma. The come off their bye week on a three game losing streak where they could not get past 14 points scored in losses at TCU, home to West Virginia and at Kansas St.
8PM ET—Florida St at Miami (ABC)
Florida St -1 with a total of 62 points.
Money has come in on Miami as Florida St opened up favorites of -2 ½ points.
Florida St pulled away from Virginia to earn a 14 point home win last week. In their three true road games the Seminoles have double digit wins at Louisville, Syracuse and NC State.
Miami is a perfect 5-0 at home. Is this stage too big for freshman QB Brady Kaaya? Their home wins came against Duke, North Carolina, Cincinnati, Arkansas St and Florida Atlantic.
8PM ET—LSU at Arkansas (ESPN2)
Arkansas -2 with a total of 47 ½ points.
Arkansas still searching for their first SEC conference win for head coach Bret Bielama. They come off a bye week after a seven point loss at Mississippi St. At 4-5 they must find two wins to become bowl eligible and they are home to Ole Miss and on the road to Missouri the rest of the way.
A tough luck loss for LSU last week at home to Alabama. At 7-3 the team is playing to finish at 9-3 and early a quality bowl berth.
10:45PM ET—Arizona St at Oregon St (ESPN)
Arizona St -9 ½ points with a total of 62 points
The Sun Devils control their destiny for the PAC 12 south title leading by one game over three teams. Big win for the program as they rout Notre Dame last week. ASU is 4-0 on the road. They close out with a home date to Washington St and at Arizona on Thanksgiving weekend.
Oregon St has been the disappointment along with Stanford in the PAC 12. They are 1-5 in conference and 4-5 overall. They must find two more two more wins to become bowl eligible as they are at Washington and home to Oregon to close out their season. They are on a four game losing streak with back to back home losses to Cal and Washington St.
