Thursday November 6th—
7:30PM ET—Clemson at Wake Forest (ESPN)
Clemson -21 points with a total of 42 points.
Clemson has played under the total in five of their six games against ACC conference opponents with the lone exception against North Carolina. The Tigers defense has won games for this team as their offense rebuilds.
Looks like another down season for Wake Forest as they enter play at 2-6. The team lacks offense.
Friday November 7th—
7:30PM ET–Memphis at Temple (ESPNU)
Memphis -7 ½ points with a total of 52 ½ points.
Temple pulled off the upset win last week at home against East Carolina in the bad weather. The Owls benefitted by five Pirates turnovers. They have been outgained by 284 yards or greater in their past two games.
Memphis beat up on some soft competition of late with wins against SMU and Tulsa after their dropped a four point home decision to Houston. The Tigers at 5-3 are one win away from bowl eligibility that means something to this program.
Saturday November 8th—
12PM ET—Baylor at Oklahoma (FOX 1)
Oklahoma -4 points with a total of 73 ½ points.
Baylor’s big test on the road resulted in a 41-27 defeat at West Virginia. They were held to 28 points in a win at Texas.
The Sooners continued their trend of pounding weak teams as they crushed Iowa St last week. They have a one point home loss to Kansas St this year.
12PM ET—Georgia at Kentucky (ESPN)
Georgia favored by -10 points with a total of 58 points.
The Tigers went down in defeat to Florida last week as they had no answer for the Gators run game that netted 7 yards a carry last week. They have SEC road wins at Missouri and Arkansas with a three point loss at South Carolina. They trail Missouri by one game in the SEC East standing with two conference games remaining.
Kentucky is 5-4 and carrying a three game losing streak after a 20-10 loss at Missouri last week. They covered a +14 ½ point spread at home to Mississippi St two weeks ago as a big underdog.
12PM ET—Iowa at Minnesota (ESPN2)
Iowa is favored by -1 point with a total of 44 points.
Both teams are at 6-2 overall. The Big Ten West is clogged with four one loss teams with Iowa and Minnesota in the mix competing with Wisconsin and Nebraska. Iowa has a Big Ten road defeat at Maryland by 7 points two weeks ago. They bounced bay with a 48-7 home win to Northwestern last week.
Minnesota is a perfect 5-0 at home but faced weak Big Ten clubs and non-conference teams. They come off a bye following a horrible loss at Illinois where a rushing fumble was returned the other way for an Illinois touchdown that cost the Golden Gophers the win.
3:30PM ET—Texas A&M at Auburn (CBS)
Auburn is favored by -21 points with a total of 66 points.
Have to wonder if Auburn’s defense is good enough to cover this huge line as they have given up no less than 31 points to their past three opponents.
Texas A&M is on a three game SEC losing streak with losses to Mississippi St, Ole Miss and Alabama. Last week they squeak past UL Monroe with Kyle Allen at quarterback for the suspended Kenny Hill. Allen struggled in his debut.
3:30PM ET—Notre Dame at Arizona St (ABC)
Arizona St is favored by -2 ½ points with a total of 60 points.
Notre Dame wins 37-34 last year as a +6 ½ point underdog.
ASU is in the midst of a PAC 12 South race as they hold a one game lease over four teams. Have to wonder if the focus is on this non-conference game or the three remaining PAC 12 games. They got past a good Utah team by three in overtime last week.
Notre Dame is a one loss team hoping to move up for playoff consideration. Their last two games feature Louisville at home and a road game at USC to close the regular season.
6:30PM ET—Virginia at Florida St (ESPN)
Florida St is favored by -19 ½ points with a total of 55 ½ points.
The Seminoles pull off a huge win last week winning in a hostile environment at Louisville last week as the trailed 24-7 early in the third period.

After a promising start the Cavaliers have lost three straight to fall to 4-5 on the year and in danger of missing a bowl game. They scored 13 points at Duke and 10 at Georgia Tech both resulting in losses.
7PM ET—UCLA at Washington (FOX 1)
UCLA is favored by -5 points with a total of 54 ½ points.
The Bruins are 5-0 on the road with a notable blowout win at Arizona St. UCLA got back into the PAC 12 South race with an impressive defensive performance in a 17-7 victory at home to Arizona. UCLA does own the tiebreaker against Arizona St and Arizona. After the bye week home games await against USC and Stanford.
Washington has fallen out of the PAC 12 North race as they sit 6-3 with the three losses coming against PAC 12 teams. The Huskies have two home losses this season that came to Stanford and Arizona St where they couldn’t get past 13 points.
7:15PM ET—Louisville at Boston College (ESPN2)
Louisville on the road is favored by -3 points with a total of 46 points.
Boston College is proving the home win to USC is no fluke as they have earned bowl status with a 6-3 record after a road win at Virginia Tech last week. A good run game and defense has created the good fortune.
Louisville is out of the ACC race as they fall to 6-3 with three losses in ACC play as they blow a 24-7 lead in the third quarter in a home loss to Florida St. They are in a bowl game but we will see how motivated this club is on the heels of a bye week. In the Florida St loss was the first time they faced a good quarterback.
7:30PM ET—Kansas St at TCU (FOX)
TCU is favored by -6 points at home with a total of 57 ½ points.
The winner of this game will have the inside track for the Big 12 championship. Kansas St is 2-0 on the road with wins at Oklahoma by one and a four point win at Iowa St.
TCU survived a scare as they get a game winning field goal as time expired in a 31-30 win at West Virginia last week. The Horned Frogs are piling up 48 points a game.
8PM ET—Alabama at LSU (CBS)
Alabama is favored by -6 ½ points with a total of 45 ½ points.
The Crimson Tide won by 21 in their meeting at Alabama last year. Tough spot for first year quarterback Blake Sims here. They put up just 14 points at Arkansas and 17 at Ole Miss on the road.
LSU looks to be improving. The Crimson Tide will force Tigers quarterback Anthony Jennings to beat them because they most likely will stack that line. They get past Ole Miss 10-7 two weeks ago.
8PM ET—Ohio St at Michigan St (ABC)
Michigan St is favored by -3 points with a total of 58 ½ points.
The schedule has not been too tough for Ohio St so the jury is still out in by far their biggest test. They were forced into overtime at an offensively challenged Penn St team two weeks ago.
Michigan St is coming off a bye week. They have a notable five point home win to Nebraska and got past a down Michigan club two weeks ago 35-11.
10PM ET—Oregon at Utah (ESPN)
Oregon is favored by -8 points with a total of 59 points.
The Ducks are in a tough spot facing a hard hitting physical club on the road after facing Stanford last week. This is the first time Oregon has played at Utah since the Utes were admitted into the PAC 12.
All of Utah’s five PAC 12 games have ended in regulation with no team leading by more than three points. They win by 6 at Oregon St in overtime in a game tied at regulation time. Utah is 7-1 ATS this year. These late night PAC 12 games have been outstanding.
