Thursday December 31st
Cotton Bowl

8PM ET—Michigan St vs. Alabama (ESPN)
Alabama -10 points with o/u 47 points
Alabama experienced defeat in their semifinal game last year against Ohio St.
Since giving up 39 points at Nebraska the Spartans have allowed 16 of fewer points to their past four opponents.
January 1st 2016
Outback Bowl
12PM ET—Northwestern Wildcats vs. Tennessee Volunteers (ESPN2)
Tennessee -8 points with o/u 48 points
Northwestern finished at 10-2 with blowout losses to Iowa and Michigan. Some of the close games went their way which wasn’t the cast last year.
Tennessee picked up five straight wins most coming against some down SEC teams.
Fiesta Bowl
1PM ET—Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Ohio St Buckeyes (ESPN)
Ohio St -6 ½ points with o/u 57 ½ points
No playoff for Ohio St in 2015 so we will see how this impacts their bowl performance.
Notre Dame finished at 10-2 but a late season 38-36 loss at Stanford could have cost the team a playoff spot. They crushed LSU in a bowl game last year.
Citrus Bowl
1PM ET—Michigan vs. Florida (ABC)
Michigan -4 with o/u 38 ½ points
The Wolverines get back on the field after getting crushed 42-13 at home to Ohio St
Florida finished the year with back to back losses to Florida St and then Alabama in the SEC title game.
Rose Bowl
5PM ET—Stanford vs. Iowa (ESPN)
Stanford -6 with o/u 53 points.
Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan showed tremendous growth in 2015 but got great help from running back Christian McCaffrey.
Iowa suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Michigan St to kill their chances at a perfect season and playoff berth.
Sugar Bowl
8:30PM ET—Oklahoma St vs. Mississippi (ESPN)
Ole Miss -7 with o/u 67 ½ points
Despite a win against Alabama the Rebels were a three loss team in 2015.
Oklahoma St enters play losers of two straight dropping home games to Oklahoma and Baylor.
Saturday January 2nd
TaxSlayer Bowl
12PM ET–Penn St vs. Georgia (ESPN)
Georgia -6 ½ points with o/u 42 ½ points
Penn St at 7-5 enters with the 105th offense from college football .
Georgia at 9-3 finished with four straight wins but still fires their head coach. The 38-10 home loss to Alabama was bad.
Liberty Bowl
3:20PM ET—Kansas St vs. Arkansas (ESPN)
Arkansas -13 with o/u 55 ½ points.
The Razorbacks finished at 7-5 and has some poor defensive games in defeats.
Kansas St suffered through a six game losing streak until winning their final three games of the season.
Alamo Bowl
6:45PM ET—Oregon vs. TCU (ESPN)
TCU -1 with o/u 78 ½ points
Oregon got real good late in the season when their quarterback Vernon Adams got healthy again.
TCU finished at 10-2 but suffered through injuries on offense. Trevone Boykin is listed as probable with an ankle problem.
Cactus Bowl
10:15PM ET—West Virginia vs. Arizona St (ESPN)
West Virginia -1 with o/u 64 ½ points
Defense went south for Arizona St this year as they struggled defending the pass.
West Virginia had trouble competing with the Big 4 from the Big 12 conference. They got beat at Kansas St 24-23 to close the regular season.
