Saturday December 12th—
3PM ET–Navy vs. Army (CBS)
Navy -23 with o/u 51 ½ points
Big line for Navy here that will play in a bowl game. The team is 9-2 and looks to rebound from a 52-31 road loss at Houston.
Army is 2-9 having last played on November 21st in a home 31-21 defeat to Rutgers.
Saturday December 19th
New Mexico Bowl
2PM ET—Arizona vs. New Mexico (ESPN)
Arizona -10 with o/u 63 points
Down season for Arizona entering play at 6-6. Their final two games of the year resulted in a home overtime win to Utah then faced their rival Arizona St on the road and lost by margin.
New Mexico has shown great improvement as a 7-5 football team this year. They have notable wins against Boise St, Utah St and Air Force and are a ground and pound team.
Las Vegas Bowl
3:30PM ET—BYU vs. Utah (ABC)
Utah -2 ½ points with o/u 54
Former Mountain West rivals. BYU loses coach Bronco Mendenhall to Virginia.
Utah was in the hunt for the PAC 12 south division but faltered late in the year and end up in Bowl game they don’t want to be at.
Camellia Bowl
5:30PM ET—Ohio vs. Appalachian St (ESPN)
Appalachian St -8 with o/u 55
Ohio is 8-4 and has won three straight including a road win at Northern Illinois to close the regular season.
APP St finished 10-2 with losses at Clemson and home to Arkansas St this year.
Cure Bowl
7PM ET–San Jose St vs. Georgia St (Streaming Online & American Sports Network)
San Jose St -3 ½ points with o/u 57
San Jose St earns this bid as a 5-7 team based on classroom performance.
Georgia St has won four straight including an upset 34-7 road win at Georgia Southern as a +20 ½ point underdog to become bowl eligible at 6-6.
New Orleans Bowl
9PM ET–Arkansas St vs. Louisiana Tech (ESPN)
Louisiana Tech -1 ½ with o/u 67
The Red Wolves are Sun Belt Champions with a conference mark of 8-0. They went 3-1 in the non-conference with blowout losses at USC and Toledo with a 27-20 home defeat to Missouri.
Louisiana Tech went 8-4 ending with a 58-24 home defeat to Southern Miss which knocked them out of the Conference USA Championship Game.
Monday December 21st
Miami Beach Bowl
2:30PM ET—Western Kentucky vs. South Florida (ESPN)
Western Kentucky -3 ½ points with o/u 66
Western Kentucky was a perfect 9-0 in Conference USA as they defeated Southern Miss in the championship game. They are 11-2 overall with losses on the road to Indiana and LSU.
South Florida a much improved team at 8-4 on a four game win streak after routing Central Florida 44-3 on the road to close the regular season.
Tuesday December 22nd
Potato Bowl
3:30PM ET–Akron vs. Utah St (ESPN)
Utah St -6 with o/u 48
Akron finished 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the MAC conference east. They finished with four straight wins to close the season after beating Kent 20-0.
Utah St has had success in this bowl game before. More was expected than a 6-6 overall mark. They were 1-5 on the road and has lost three of their past four after a 51-28 home defeat to BYU.
Boca Raton Bowl
7PM ET—Toledo vs. Temple (ESPN)
Temple -1 with o/u 53
The Rockets ended the year at 9-2 and blew the MAC conference west title with a defeat to Western Michigan at home.
Temple is 10-3 overall and comes off a 24-13 road defeat to Houston in the AAC championship game.
Wednesday December 23rd
Poinsettia Bowl
4:30PM ET–Boise St vs. Northern Illinois (ESPN)
Boise St -8 with o/u 55
Boise St was a bit down this season at 8-4 with losses to New Mexico and Air Force at home.
Northern Illinois had injuries at their quarterback position and enter play after a loss to Bowling Green in the MAC conference championship game.
Go Daddy Bowl
8PM ET—Georgia Southern vs. Bowling Green (ESPN)
Bowling Green -7 with o/u 66
Bowing Green has an explosive offense and enter play at 10-3 after their win in the MAC title game to Northern Illinois.
Georgia Southern is 8-4 coming off a 34-7 home defeat to Georgia St as a -20 ½ point favorite.
Thursday December 24th
12PM ET—Middle Tennessee St versus Western Michigan (ESPN)
Western Michigan -3 with o/u 60 ½
Middle Tennessee St is 7-5 winners of four straight.
Western Michigan comes off a nice road win at Toledo 35-30 and is 7-5 overall.
