NCAA Tournament:
Thursday March 24th—
7:10PM ET—Miami vs. Villanova (CBS)
Villanova -4 O/U 140 ½ from Louisville Kentucky
After beating Buffalo by five the Hurricanes were an underdog against Wichita St in the Round of 32 and came away with a 65-57 victory. Wichita St went cold from the field.
Villanova has crushed UNC Ashville and Iowa in the first two round.
7:37PM ET—Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma (TBS)
Oklahoma – 2/12 O/U 146 from Anaheim California
A late 14-2 improbable run late in their game against Northern Iowa forced the overtime period. The Aggies came out on top 93-88. They crushed Green Bay in Round 1.
Oklahoma struggled for 30 minutes against Bakersfield until pulling away. They got past VCU in the Round of 32 by the score of 85-81 as a -6 point favorite. Giving up 68 to Bakersfield and 81 to VCU has to be a concern.
9:40PM ET—Maryland vs. Kansas (CBS)
Kansas -6 ½ points O/U 144 ½ points from Louisville Kentucky
Kansas got past UCONN 73-61 in the Round of 32 after their blowout win in their opener against Austin Peay.
Maryland after a five point win to San Diego St caught a break as Cal was eliminated by Hawaii. The Terrapins then went on to beat the Warriors 73-60 and covering.
10:07PM ET—Duke vs. Oregon (TBS)
Oregon -3 O/U 156 ½ points from Anaheim California
Oregon the lone team from the 7 PAC 12 schools to get into the Sweet 16. After crushing Holy Cross the Ducks beat a hot St Josephs team 69-64 but failing to cover.
Duke has victories against UNC Wilmington and Yale but all by single digits.
Friday March 25th—
7:10PM ET—Iowa St vs. Virginia (CBS)
Virginia -5 O/U 142 from Chicago Illinois
The Cyclones have point spread covering double digit wins against Iona and Arkansas Little Rock. They catch as break as Arkansas Little Rock upset Purdue.
Virginia behind a +9 rebounding margin got past Butler in the Round of 32 77-69. They crushed Hamton in the opener.
7:27PM ET—Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame (TBS)
Notre Dame -1 O/U 131 ½ from Philadelphia PA
Notre Dame survived a threat by Stephen F. Austin in the second round winning 76-75. A second half rally allowed the Fighting Irish to beat Michigan in the opener.
After an ugly 47-43 victory over Pittsburgh the Badgers scored a 66-63 victory against Xavier in the Round of 32.
9:40PM ET—Gonzaga vs. Syracuse (CBS)
Gonzaga -4 ½ O/U 135 from Chicago Illinois
The Bulldogs have put together double digit wins in the first two rounds by beating Seton Hall by 16 and Utah by 23 points.
Syracuse got past Dayton in Round 1 winning 70-51. They caught a break facing Middle Tennessee St who upset Michigan St in the opener. The Orange crushed the Blue Raiders 75-50.
9:57PM ET—Indiana vs. North Carolina (TBS)
North Carolina -5 ½ O/U 160 from Philadelphia PA
Indiana after crushing Chattanooga got past Kentucky 73-67 in the Round of 32 with a good shooting performance.
North Carolina got past Florida Gulf Coast in their opener but failed to cover as a -22 ½ point favorite. In Round 2 they separated from Providence in the second half winning 85-66 as a -11 point favorite.
