PAC 12 South Conference Previews:

Arizona Wildcats: 10-4 overall in 2014 and 7-2 in the PAC 12
South Champions a season ago. They pulled out a seven point win at Oregon but got crushed to the Ducks in the PAC 12 title game. The team returns 13 starters.
Arizona goes on the road to Nevada, Stanford, Colorado, Washington, USC and Arizona St. In the non-conference they are home to Texas San Antonio, and Northern Arizona.
Freshman quarterback Anu Solomon won the job late last year in camp and had 28 touchdowns and 9 picks. Rich Rodriguez knows how to produce offense but only six starters are back on defense.
Regular Season Win Projection: 7 1/2
Arizona St Sun Devils: 10-3 overall and 6-3 in the PAC 12.
In the Sun Bowl they beat Duke 36-31. Late losses at Oregon St and at Arizona denied them a shot at Oregon in the PAC 12 title game. They get 16 starters back from 2014 with 9 on defense.
ASU goes on the road to UCLA, Utah, Washington St and Cal. In the non-conference they face Texas A&M in Houston Texas, Cal Poly and New Mexico. They get Arizona, Oregon and USC at home.
Returning under center is quarterback Mike Bercovici who played in three games well for an injured Taylor Kelly. Head coach Todd Graham has brought discipline to the club during his tenure.
Regular Season Win Projection: 8 ½ wins
Colorado Buffaloes: 2-10 overall and 0-9 in the PAC 12.
The team was in more games the past two seasons than the pathetic team they had in 2012. 16 starters return for head coach Mike Macintyre. He has brought offensive improvement in his two years at the school.
They are on the road to Hawaii, Arizona St, Oregon St, UCLA, Washington St and Utah. In the non-conference they face UMASS, Nichols St and face Colorado St in Denver. They get Oregon, USC and Stanford at home. They have bad luck getting two heavyweights from the north.
Junior quarterback Sefo Lirfau returns. They gave a scare at home to UCLA last year losing in OT. Colorado must improve a run defense that allowed over 5 ½ yards per carry.
Regular Season Win Projection: 5 ½
UCLA Bruins: 10-3 overall in 2014 and 6-3 in the PAC 12.
It was a disappointing year as the club had a lot of hype entering 2014. They beat Cal by two on the road and Colorado by 3 in double overtime. They blew the PAC 12 South title by losing 31-10 at home to Stanford. UCLA then beat Kansas St in the Alamo Bowl 40-35.

The Bruins are on the road to UNLV, Arizona, Stanford, Oregon St, Utah and USC. In the non-conference they host Virginia and BYU.
Everyone but the quarterback returns to start on offense. The QB is either freshman Josh Rosen or junior Jerry Neuheisel.
Regular Season Win Projection: 9
USC Trojans: 9-4 overall and 6-3 in the PAC 12
Coach Steve Sarkisian returns for a second year. They did beat Nebraska 45-42 in the Holiday bowl. They got crushed by 18 points to UCLA. 14 starters are back in 2015.
The Trojans are on the road to Arizona St, Notre Dame, Cal, Colorado and Oregon. In the non-conference they face at home Arkansas St and Idaho. They get Stanford, Arizona and UCLA at home.
Cody Kessler returns as starting quarterback. They lose their top running back from 2014 but the Trojans have shown the ability to stockpile that position. The defense must be better than the unit that allowed over 400 yards per game a season ago. Sark had trouble defending in his time at Washington.
Regular Season Win Projection: 9
Utah Utes: 9-4 overall and 5-4 in the PAC 12.
The Utes finally had a winning record against the conference since joining the PAC 12. They earned wins against Stanford, USC and UCLA. Utes were in a lot of close games. The team returns 14 starters.
Utah is on the road to Fresno St, Oregon, USC, Washington and Arizona. In the non-conference they are home to Michigan and Utah St.
The Utes were a ground and pound team a season ago. Senior quarterback Travis Wilson returns but must beat out an Oklahoma transfer. The Utah defense played well in 2014 as they held opponents to 25 points per game.
Regular Season Win Projection: 7 1/2
