The first NFC Wild Card will kick off after all 3 AFC Wild Card games have been played and it will see the Eagles (14-3, 8-1 at Home) welcoming the Packers (11-6, 5-3 on Road) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia where the Weather will start above freezing (36°) but will be gradually dipping down to 30° as the Sun goes down, making it a pretty cold environment. The Packers qualified as the No. 7 Wild Card seed and the last team in in the NFC while the Eagles captured the NFC East and are the No. 2 seed. The teams will be reseeded after the Wild Card Round. Online sportsbook DraftKings has the Eagles priced at 7/1 to win the Super Bowl with the Packers at 25/1. Starting QB Love (3,389 Passing yards, 25 TD, 66.2 QBR) is dealing with some Elbow problems and is listed as Questionable (for now), but expect the Packers signal-caller to be ready by Sunday and have a small support on the Elbow. He practiced in full on Thursday. With backup QB Malik Willis also dealing with an Injury, Love will have to be ready and we can expect a lot of running from RB Josh Jacobs (1,329 Rushing yards, 15 TD) to compensate for Love’s potential limited throwing ability and the absence of deep threat Watson. Guys like WR Jayden Reed (857 Receiving yards, 6 TD), Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Kraft, and TE Tucker Kraft will have to step up with Watson now done for the year and in for a long Offseason and recovery.

The Eagles (11-6-0 ATS, 7-10-0 O/U) have had the biggest question mark of all the teams in terms of Injury and availability to a key player with Starting QB Jalen Hurts still in Concussion Protocol (Thursday) but are expected to clear by Sunday according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. “With the questions swirling around the Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts returned to the practice field yesterday, which is a sign that he will be back on the field Sunday to play, barring some unexpected setback. He’s been in concussion protocol. He remains in concussion protocol,” Schefter said. So if you want to bet on Philadelphia (-230 Moneyline), this may be the best time before he is OK’d to play and the line may trickle back up. Kenny Pickett is the Eagles QB2. This is a game Love and Hurts were both destined to play, but neither one will be at 100% and both teams are likely game-planning around a possible reality where their Starter can’t play and may have to be relieved.
