Wisconsin Badgers vs Oregon Ducks 3-21-23

NCAAB Best Over and Under Teams

Wisconsin Off to a High-Flying Overs Start This Season

We have looked at the College Basketball teams who have the best and the worst ATS records to start off the new season, so now let’s look at the teams that have played Overs (or Pushes) in all of their games this November. Leading the pack are Big Ten Conference members and No. 19-ranked Wisconsin (6-0 SU), historically a pretty low-scoring school known for slowing the pace and milking every possession. But this season is different. The Badgers have averaged 87.8 ppg (#26) and Wisconsin has scored 85, 79, 87, 103, 87, and 86 in wins against Holy Cross, Montana State, Appalachian State, Arizona, and UT Rio Grande, so the strength of the opposition may have something to do with the Badgers spotless 6-0-0 record to the Over. Next up for Wisconsin is a date with Pitt on Sunday and an opportunity for NCAA basketball bettors to play another Badgers game Over.

Here are the 24 Division I NCAA Basketball school have played all Overs so far this season:

SIU Edwardsville, Minnesota Off to Strong Under Starts

Merrimack, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Cal Poly (have been the best teams to bet Unders on since 2020 while MAAC school Marist was the best Under team in College Hoops last season (22-8-1). This year, a number of teams have played nothing but Unders in November with SIU Edwardsville (6-0-0 Under) and Minnesota (5-0-0) leading the pack in that side of the Totals betting marketplace. The Ohio Valley Confrence’s (OVC) Cougars have averaged 71.9 ppg (#278) while allowing 69.1 ppg while Dawson Garcia and the Big Ten’s Golden Gophers are averaging 63.2 ppg (#273) and allowing 55.6 ppg, so you can see why their games have been ducking under the Total.

NCAAB Totals Pick and Prediction

Unbeaten Big Ten side Wisconsin (6-0 SU, 6-0 Over) faces Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) school Pitt (6-0 SU, 5-1 ATS, 2-3-1 O/U) in the Championship Game of the Greenbrier Tip-Off (Mountain Division) at Colonial Hall in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia tomorrow on Sunday, November 25 (5:30 EST/2:20 PST) in what may again be a good spot to bet another Badgers Over and this free College Basketball Totals pick. Wisconsin games have gone Over by 8 points (UCF, 148), 16 (UTRGV, 155), 40.5 (AZ, 150.5), 25.5 (APP ST, 137.5), 1.5 (MTST, 144.5), and 5.5 (HC, 140.5). G John Tonje (21.3 ppg), G John Blackwell (16.3 ppg), G Max Klesmit (13.3 ppg) and the Badgers were 23-13 to the Over last season (63.9%) and are now a 29-13 Over team in their last 32 games overall (69%). With the Panthers also unbeaten, this one may turn into a shootout and should be a very good basketball game with someone getting their first loss.

Kevin’s Totals Pick: Wisconsin-Pitt Over 149.5
