Buffalo Sabres vs. Los Angeles Kings Game Overview
All right, let’s get into this action between Buffalo and LA. When you look at this Buffalo team, they’re actually playing a little better hockey over their last few games, winning four of their last six. Meanwhile, the Kings have only two wins in their last five games. They got a nice win over Detroit, but hey, everybody’s been beating up on Detroit this season, especially on the road.
Looking at the Kings, their defensive style, as always, stands out. They’ve already beaten up on Buffalo once this season. This Buffalo team is definitely looking to avenge that loss earlier, where the Kings went into Buffalo and got themselves a 3-1 win.
Key Players and Expected Matchups
Who’s getting the start here? Looks like Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is going to get the start for the Sabres in this one, and it looks like Rittich is going to get the start for the Kings. I expect a great, solid goalie duel in this one.
Looking at this Kings team, they’re 28-10 to the under this season—definitely on an under-run, as they love to play defensive, low-scoring hockey here in LA. And you look at Buffalo—they’re 8-0 to the under when they’re trying to avenge a loss in which they managed only one goal. They lost 3-1 earlier to the Kings, so that fits this system.
Final Picks and Predictions
I’ve got to go with the under here in this one, with a lean to Buffalo to avenge that loss. But I think the under is the safer play—this one might be a 3-1 win again on Wednesday night.
Thanks, everybody, for tuning in. I appreciate each and every one of you. Have a wonderful Wednesday, everybody. Crush the books, and I’ll catch you on the next one!
