Colorado vs. Philadelphia Key Matchup

Alright, let’s get into this action. Big game here: Colorado vs. Philadelphia.

Colorado just had their three-game winning streak snapped by Washington last time out. The Flyers are on a three-game winning streak and looking to make it four straight. But going up against Colorado will be a tough spot for them.

Looking at the head-to-head record between these two teams, they’ve split their matchups over the last two seasons—win one, lose one, and vice versa. Of those matchups, three of them have seen plenty of goals, pushing games over the total. So, we might expect a higher-scoring one here.

My Pick: Colorado for the Bounce-Back

Colorado is definitely looking for a bounce-back performance, and I think they end Philadelphia’s winning streak here. Looking at Colorado’s record, what do they do against teams priced around a coin flip? They’re 17-1. They beat up on coin-flip teams. That’s just what they do. Colorado tends to dominate weaker teams but struggles against the better ones.

Now, both teams are sitting at .500. If you like the Flyers to extend their streak to four straight wins, I can see why. But I don’t. I think Colorado is going to turn their season around and start getting those wins. This team has too much talent not to.

Who’s in goal? I’m going to guess Annunen gets the start for Colorado, and Fedotov is in net for the Flyers in this one.

My pick: Colorado is the play on Monday.

Thanks, everybody, for tuning in. I appreciate each and every one of you. Let’s kickstart the week with a winner. Have yourself a good one, and catch you on the next one!
