Rangers vs. Kraken Matchup
Let’s get into this action: Rangers vs. Seattle. Look at the Seattle Kraken team—they’re having themselves a nice little win streak, a four-game winning streak to be exact. The Rangers, on the other hand, are a bit inconsistent—win one, lose one, win one, lose one—but they’ve still managed to win four of their last six hockey games. So, they’re definitely chugging right along.
Head-to-head, this will be the first meeting of the season. The Rangers won both meetings last season handily, outscoring Seattle 9-2 and 9-3 combined. They even came into Seattle last season and got a 4-1 win.
Tough Spot for the Kraken
This is a tough spot for the Kraken on the back-to-back. I think this is where the Rangers pounce. Got to go with the Rangers here. Shesterkin should be in goal. On the other hand, it should be Grubauer for Seattle—not a fan of Grubauer. I think he gets beat up by the Rangers in this one.
Shesterkin stands on his head, and the Rangers get the win. Take the Rangers on the puck line. I think they easily cover it. They covered both puck lines last season, and actually, they’ve covered the last three puck lines versus Seattle, scoring at least four goals in all three.
Take the Rangers on the puck line in this one on Sunday.
