Nashville Predators vs Vancouver Canucks Prediction 11/17/24 NHL Picks Today

Hi there, it’s Rodd from Tony’s Picks, coming at you with the Vancouver Canucks-Nashville Predators here on Sunday, November 17th, 2024.

Just before we get to that NHL selection, I want to say, hey, if you’re new to Tony’s Picks—welcome aboard! Glad to have you. Make sure you subscribe. Also, give us a thumbs up—greatly appreciate it.

Canucks on a Back-to-Back

All right, let’s get this action then: Canucks-Nashville Predators. You look at the Canucks—hey, probably playing their best hockey of the season over their last few. Hey, they lost to the Islanders the last time out. Let’s see if they can handle the Blackhawks. They’re playing that game as I shoot this video, so the Canucks will be on the back-to-back here in this spot.

I think Kevin Lankinen gets the start here for the Canucks in this back-to-back spot. Nashville should be Saros getting the start. You know, you look at the Nashville team—struggling. Two wins in their last 10 hockey games. Definitely not going to get the job done.

Predators Seeking Revenge

But in this spot, against the Canucks team in the second half of a back-to-back, looking for a little bit of revenge—you’ve got to remember, this was the Canucks team that tossed the Nashville Predators right out of the playoffs last season. I think Nashville takes advantage here of this back-to-back spot and gets themselves a little bit of a revenge win, especially at this coin-flip price.

My Pick: Predators Over a Tired Canucks Team

Don’t really want to lay anything with the Vancouver Canucks—not trusting the Vancouver Canucks at all right now. Sure, they have picked up their play lately, but over the season? Definitely not a huge fan. Not a huge fan of Nashville either, but I’ve got to lean to Nashville. They’ve definitely been sitting in Vancouver and waiting for this one. They could even be watching this game tonight—Blackhawks vs. Vancouver. So, got to go with the Predators to get the job done against a tired Canucks team here on Sunday.

Thanks, everybody, for tuning in. Appreciate each and every one of you. Have yourself a wonderful Sunday. I’ll see you on the next one.
