Montreal at home this season is 3-4-1. They haven’t been playing great hockey overall. They started the year strong in a few games but have since tailed off and hit a slump. However, this looks like a get-right spot for Montreal, as they’ve had success beating up on Columbus in the past.

Columbus is coming into this game on the second half of a back-to-back. We should see Tarasov getting the start in goal for Columbus, while Montembeault is expected to start for Montreal. And what has Montreal been doing lately? Montreal has just one win in their last eight contests—so not great.

As for Columbus, they’re struggling even more, coming into this matchup as losers of seven straight hockey games. Historically, they haven’t fared well against Montreal either.
