Alright, let’s get into it. Columbus vs. Anaheim on Sunday. Columbus is on a back-to-back, making this a tough spot as they’ll be facing the Ducks with no rest. We should see Tarasov getting the start for Columbus and Dostal starting for Anaheim. This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams.
Head-to-Head Advantage for the Ducks
Looking at recent history, the Ducks have the rest advantage and have won five of the last six head-to-head matchups against Columbus. However, the Ducks have been struggling lately, with three straight losses, falling to the Wild (5-2), the Canucks (5-1), and the Blackhawks (4-2). They’ve definitely taken a beating recently.
Betting Angle: Under 6 Goals
Interestingly, when the Ducks lose by two or more goals in four straight games, the under is 7-0. I think this will be a low-scoring, first-to-three type game.
