This is David with TonysPicks.com, here with a two-team NHL parlay for Thursday, November 7th, 2024. We have a huge NHL slate today, and the first game we’re looking at is the St. Louis Blues taking on the Utah Hockey Club.
Game 1: St. Louis Blues vs. Utah Hockey Club
St. Louis comes into this one playing pretty well at home this season, with a 4-2-0 record. They’ve won two games in a row against Tampa Bay and Toronto, both very solid teams. They’re playing strong hockey right now and are especially solid defensively. However, they are dealing with some injuries, with a couple of key contributors out for this game. That’s the only reason this wasn’t a premium play for me—the injuries held me back. Utah, on the other hand, has lost two games in a row and holds a 2-3-2 record on the road. They haven’t been playing well since their decent start to the season, losing eight of their last ten. I like the Blues here on the money line at home.
Game 2: Dallas Stars vs. Chicago Blackhawks
The second game I’m looking at is the Dallas Stars hosting the Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago is coming into this one on the second game of a back-to-back after losing 4-1 to Detroit at home on Wednesday. The Blackhawks are just too low-scoring for me. They’ve played okay over the last ten days or so, but for the season, they’re not scoring enough goals. They’re up against a Dallas team that plays fantastic defense. Although the Stars just lost both games to the Panthers in the NHL Global Series, don’t be fooled—Dallas is still one of the best teams in the NHL. The Stars are 4-0-1 at home, and they beat Chicago 4-2 late last month. So I like Dallas here to cover the puck line and win by one and a half.
Alright, so for our two-team NHL parlay today, we’re going with the St. Louis Blues on the money line and the Dallas Stars minus one and a half.
