Bengals vs Ravens Player Props Picks

The Bengals and Ravens rivalry matchup is shaping up as a battle of strengths, with both teams bringing explosive offensive potential and key defensive playmakers. This showdown will likely come down to whether the Ravens’ rushing attack can overpower Cincinnati’s defense or if the Bengals’ passing game can exploit Baltimore’s secondary.

With the Ravens favored, it’ll be a tough matchup for the Bengals but we’ve seen crazy things in this matchup in past years. We should see a ton of offense in this game with the total set at 52.5. If you like player props this is a great matchup for you. Below are three guys that I think are going to have big games tonight.

Lamar Jackson Over 232.5 Pass Yards -110

Lamar Jackson’s 2024 passing stats are impressive, showcasing his strong season so far. Over nine games, he has completed 68.2% of his passes for 2,379 yards, averaging 264.3 yards per game. Jackson has thrown 20 touchdown passes with only 2 interceptions, leading to an outstanding passer rating of 120.7. His passing game has been particularly efficient, averaging 9.3 yards per attempt. Jackson’s connection with his receivers has enabled high yardage gains, with big performances like his 348-yard, 4-touchdown game against the Bengals. Jackson has consistently demonstrated versatility and decision-making improvement, ranking among the NFL’s most efficient quarterbacks.

His ability to limit turnovers while maintaining a high average per pass and touchdown count highlights his balanced play. This Bengals defense has been getting shredded through the air this season. Lamar also has a new shiny toy with the Ravens acquiring Diontae Johnson. This is a perfect spot for Lamar to have another big game against this Bengal’s defense. With a high total in this game and Lamar averaging well over this line there’s a lot of value with taking the over on Lamars passing yards.

Chase Brown Over 23.5 Rec Yards -110

Bengals rookie Chase Brown has recorded 98 receiving yards on 21 receptions across nine games, averaging 4.7 yards per catch. He’s seen 26 targets and has scored two receiving touchdowns, showcasing his versatility as a dual-threat running back who contributes in both the running and passing game. This performance underscores Brown’s role in the Bengals’ offensive scheme, where he supports both the ground attack and short-yardage passing options.

Last week Brown had a career-high 37 receiving yards against the Raiders. I expect Brown to get more looks in the passing game as the season goes on. With the amount of attention Higgins and Chase get from defenses, Brown will be open throughout this game. Also, I’m not high on the Raven’s pass defense but the Ravens do have a good pass rush. Expect Burrow to look at Brown as a safety net.

Diontae Johnson Over 17.5 Rec Yards – 120

Diontae Johnson’s receiving stats for the 2024 season include 30 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns across his appearances, with an average of 11.9 yards per catch. Initially, he played for the Carolina Panthers, where he was a prominent target, averaging 8.3 targets per game over seven games. However, he was recently traded to the Baltimore Ravens. This recent trade means that Johnson’s involvement in Baltimore’s offense is expected to grow gradually as he settles in, primarily playing alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman as a secondary option rather than a primary target, as he was in Carolina.

With that being said 17.5 yards isn’t a big ask from a guy like Johnson. He’s the type of wide receiver that can get this in one reception. I expect Lamar to make a point to try to get his new guy the ball. This Bengals defense will have their hands full guarding speedy WR Zay Flowers and Mr. Consistent Rashod Bateman that Johnson should be able to find ways to get open. We also see a total of over 50 points in this game. I expect a high-scoring shootout. Even at the -120 odds, this is great value for Johnson to log 20+ yards.
