Cincinnati vs Colorado Prediction 10/26/24 – Week 9
The 5-2 Cincinnati Bearcats come clawing into town to play the 5-2 Prime Time Colorado Buffalos on Saturday night! A big time, Big XII showdown. Both teams are 3-1 in the conference and looking to build on some momentum. Cincinnati beat Arizona last week 24-14 and Colorado took down Arizona 24-7. Not a great weekend for the Grand Canyon State. This game also decides bowl eligibility for one of the teams, and as a Nebraska fan, I know that elusive 6th win carries a heavy burden. This game is going to be a fun one to watch with such talent out there on the field on both sides of the ball. I love Prime Time Saturday Night Football under the lights!!!
Can Cincinnati Win Tonight?
This is going to be Cincinnati’s 4th game on the road this season and have a 2-1 record. Their only loss came down to a field goal versus a high scoring Texas Tech Red Raiders team. Brendan Sorsby is at the helm for the Bearcats this season. The offense is 33rd in the nation in yards per game at 451.4. Sorsby averages 275.4 yards passing with a 67.2% completion percentage, has 13 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. The leading rusher on the team is Cory Kiner. He averages an amazing 85.4 yards per game with 2 touchdowns on the season. Xzavier Henderson is the top receiver this season averaging 77.3 yards per game and has 4 TD’s. This one will probably come down to the Cincinnati defense in the trenches as they only allow 19.29 points per game on defense.

- 9 of Cincinnati’s last 10 October games as underdogs have gone under the total
- Brendan Sorsby has had over 200 yards passing in 5 of 7 games played this season
- Cincinnati has covered the spread in each away game this season
Can Colorado Win Tonight!
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is a winner before this game even starts. He still holds the top spot for all NIL earners with an estimated $5.1 million dollars. The Rolls Royce of Colorado is also an impressive and efficient passer. He averages 324 yards per game, has a 72.2% completion percentage with 19 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. This is a one-man wrecking crew, all plays go through him. Travis Hunter sometimes gets to play. He is averaging 8.5 receptions per game with 6 touchdowns. But they mostly utilize him on defense. Isaiah Augustave on the other hand, doesn’t get to play much at all. The Top running back on the team averages only 30 yards a game. Ya that’s right…30!!! So how goes Shedeur, goes this Buffalo team. He spreads the ball all over the field. So it’s a must he is on top of his game to get the win.

Cincinnati vs. Colorado (-6.5) – O/U 57.5 – Free Prediction for 10/26/2024
I think this one comes down to the wire. It might be who has the ball last. My Modeling has Cincinnati winning this one outright by 2 points, so I will be talking the 6.5. Cincinnati’s ATS points differential sits at a positive 5.3 on the season. Cincinnati has both the better offensive and defensive efficiencies in this game and converts on 3rd down 46.7% of the time. That is 24th best in the nation. If you can win on the road and convert in the clutch count me in!
